The Sword in the Stone ceremony returning to the Magic Kingdom?

If it's 80 degrees in temperature one day, drops to 74 the next, and the back to 80 the following it's considered an incline. Same concept here.

Tell you what.. you give me $100. I'll give you $5 today.. and I'll give you $10 tomorrow. Let me know on friday how you feel about that 'incline' between Wednesday and Thursday.

We need time for things to happen.
No, they don't give away the wands - you are offered to buy it after the ceremony.
Phew...Thanks.

I was getting ready to start cracking my knuckles hunch over my keyboard and get into "strongly worded email" mode....."Dear Universal Orlando..." LOL..

So anyone else able to verify what Slugger is saying and that the ceremony is ALREADY happening? Seems like everyone else here is saying they are "waiting" for it to happen.

I haven't personally seen it. But I have read accounts from people who claim to have seen it in the last week.

I hope so! I actually was chosen as one of kids to do it when I was younger! I got a metal and everything

My oldest saw the sword in a random picture while daddy was looking at a WDW related site and ever since she has desperately wanted to yank that thing out. If she gets a chance (which at the time I thought was impossible) no one will be happier than me. I'm going to need to start calling around to see if I can arrange this somehow.

Might not like it, but it's still an inclination to the previous regardless of feelings.

No. If zero is the baseline and something was at... let's say "1" then drops to zero. That would be a decline placing the ticker at "0." Remove another item and you are at "-1" making it a decline whilst adding "1" back to it to place it back 0 or the baseline. That is a physical incline returning to the baseline which is NOT an increase. Math owns society.

Everything has a time dimension - you just take a conveniently narrow one to make it look good. Using the same logic you can change the time dimension and show it's not an incline, but still a decline. Reality is those using common sense understand that taking away, and giving some back is not moving forward or advancing.

I've used my "awesome" paint skills to show you what I'm talking about. Whether you start with a week ago, or 40 years ago it's an inclination.

Nobody said it was an increase, they said incline. And I see that you clearly agree. I'm glad that you understand. Thanks for supporting that side of the discussion. :)

So you are adding time and turing an incline into a decline? I'd like to see a 3D graph of that, but not sure what you'd use for your independent and dependent variables. If you figure it out, please post the graph.

I think that the people talking about inclining, improvement or whatever you want to call it, just like seeing things get better. Nobody said better than 20 years ago, just better going forward. You know, inclining. :)

Oh yeah, btw, the return of the Sword in the Stone would be awesome! That's what we were talking about, right?

It's quite simple.. when you take two points to draw your line. It matters which two points in time you take. If you use last month and today.. you will get a different line then if you used Jan 1 2004, and today.

Reality is today.. we still aren't even back to where we were before they yanked the show.

It's this type of pandering to whatever Disney will throw your way that reinforces the choices the company makes. You are happy to get 'anything'.

Agreed. But are you not happy when things are brought back? I don't mean that we should rejoice and pat everyone at TDO on the back, but I like things moving in the right direction instead of 'downward'. You have to stop the cuts first and start adding next. I like the return of things (gysers, Sword in Stone), along with new things like Tangled Courtyard, FLE, etc.

The express of 'throw them a bone...' seems fitting here. People happy to get anything.. instead of having some standards.

It's still inferior to what they took away and really there is nothing but themselves keeping them from returning what they had or improving upon it. You act like it will take time for them to get it all together and they'll slowly add to it. This isn't Mt Rushmore.. it's a simple stage show they performed for many years.

People might as well be jumping up and down over the Stitch stage because the 'improved' upon the horrible show they started with by killing it and replacing it with slightly less bad shows. Instead of just accepting the stage and it's shows were just bad ideas to start with.. and get rid of them and move on.

Yeah, this is getting a little silly discussing what exactly qualifies as an incline, decline, etc. Next, we'll be breaking out trig. ratios or calculating slopes of lines. For my last word on this topic (on this thread anyway), I'll use more math.

Cuts = Bad

Bringing stuff back or adding new things = Good

This would be awesome, I would always watch the show and hope that I'd get picked when I was younger. I really hope this is true, I'd love to watch the show again for old time's sake!

Your spin failed. What you are referring is a theoretical incline. Not physical. Thanks for letting me prove you wrong ;) all about the change in position to the baseline ultizing that as the constant.
