Suites in WDW Resort

I'm looking for a suite on site at the WDW Resort, that offers Extra Magic Hours. Of the value prices I have found All Star Music and the Hilton, which both don't have availability for the dates I want. Without getting too expensive which Resort offers Extra Magic Hours and suites... (I don't think it exists.. )

The new Art of Animation resort has suites and is a Disney resort so you would get the benefit of Extra Magic hours.

If you're looking for something in the value category, there is also the Art of Animation resort's family suites. In the moderates, there are the cabins at Fort Wilderness Resort (rather than traditional suites, these are cabins with full kitchens, baths and a separate bedroom). Several deluxe resorts also have suites and "deluxe villas" (studios and 1-2 bedroom suites). You can rent them directly from Disney, or reserve a DVC villa using rented DVC points.

They are. The OP is looking for a hotel that offers a suite, but also offers Extra Magic Hours. Since the EMH is on property only, it really is just a matter of which on property hotels have suites. Swan and Dolphin both have higher end suites, most of the DVC 1+ bedroom villas could be considered suites, or All Star Music and Art of Animation both also have suites. As the PP said, Fort Wilderness cabins are also an alternative lots of people consider when looking for the extra in room space/conveniences.


More info on why the suite is preferred might help to get an answer of an alternative solution.

As stated above, you will need to explain by what you mean when you say a "Suite." Are you looking for more of a honeymoon suite with a whirlpool tub, or a family suite which offeres more square footage and an extra bathroom. Both of these options can be found at Disney. However, Family suites offer the additional space with additional bathrooms are can be found at the All Star Music and Art of Animation resorts.

As to the question of EMH hours. To be able to take part in Extra Magic Hours you will need to stay at a WDW Resort. However, and someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on this, guests staying at hotels that are located both at Downtown Disney, such as the Hilton, and other hotels located off of the Disney property will not be able to experience EMH.

Your best best to figure out which hotels will allow you to experience EMH hours is to go to the WDW website:
http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/ , and click on "PLACES TO STAY." All of the listed resorts will enable a guest to experience EMH.

Unless they are having a special offer, there isn't a "suite" onsite that is as reasonable as Hilton or Music.
Even though AOA is a value, the suites are pricey. We are staying in a standard room at AOA in September, and got 97.00 weekday and 113.00 for weekend days. You could try for two adjoining rooms and still get a reasonable price. That could sleep eight. Since there's no kitchen, we will bring our rolling cooler.
We normally stay at Double Tree Suites across from DD, if we aren't going to use afterhours. Their suites are large, have a large safe, and have bus service. Even though, they are owned by Hilton, they still don't get the afterhours.
Another thing to consider, depending on when you are going, is that for a while now, they have been extending hours for everyone making some EMH unnecessary. Check the dates you are going on the disney site, and you may see that you don't need the extra hours. Additionally, if you get there at opening, you will be able to get on most things before others get there. Especially, since they have been blocking off areas of the parks on early morning hours. When we were there the end of June, they had Adventure Land, and Frontier Land blocked off during early hours. It was really aggrevating that we got up early to do BTMM and Splash and HM, and they wouldn't let anyone in those areas. We asked if there was a problem and were told, "No". That they weren't opening those areas during early hours. They did the same thing in HS. We went specifically for Rocking Roller Coaster, but it wasn't open. When we asked why, the response was simply that it would open later, and it opened at regular park time.
I hope enough people complained that this isn't continuing.

I would suggest "renting DVC" points also. Depending on how much space you need you could get a one- or two-bedroom. I think that by renting points you can get the rooms at a better price than paying the cash rate that Disney offers.

I don't know if that's still the case, but that was why we stayed there that one year. Now, we stay onsite for long stays and Double Tree for weekends when we really don't need afterhours.

That was our decision also. We looked at the AoA suites but I think 6 adults in one of the suites is a little too much. We always get two rooms at POP and in December we are doing the LM standard rooms. 2 standard rooms were cheaper for us than a suite and I feel like we have more breathing room. Our rolling coolers have worked out great for milk, drinks (when you are too far away from the food court to go get your refill) and anything else you need on ice.

1. There are hotels like the Best Western and Doubletree Hilton that do not participate in the EMH.
2. I am looking for a family suite.
3. I just feel that we should compile a list of suites located in disneyworld. Its a pain clicking on each of them and looking and I haven't found a normal list with just all of the resorts/hotels that have suites.

I thought there was one DTD hotel that offered EMH too but I couldn't remember which one. To the OP, check with the DTD Hilton to see if they participate in EMH, I could have sworn I read that somewhere.

There's supposed to be this hotel, Hollywood Tower, it doesn't seem to have a website, does anyone know if it has suites?

All deluxe resorts have expensive suites as does Coronado Springs.

Depending on when the OP is going, a 2-bedroom suite at SSR (the easiest DVC to book) is anywhere from 33 to 50 points per night. Do a bit of shopping and you should be able to find something for $10 per point. Expensive but still a lot less then renting the same suite directly from Disney.

If this more than you want to spend then consider a suite at AOA.

You also could consider a Cabin at Fort Wilderness which should be less than a suite at AOA.

CS Junior suites are pricey, but a bit larger and nicer than the value suites, although A of A is great! Deluxe villas and suites are ridiculous! The cabins are a nice alternative, but they have gone up in price over the years.
