Can't wait for my first meeting with Tonga Toast

You realize this place is on my itinerary for Monday morning breakfast just the DD31 and I since we are putting kiddos on a boat to go look for treasure that morning for a couple of hours. I absolutely am determined to get the french press coffee this time. Every time I have made my way to the POLY on visits past Kona was closing and I never got a pot of it. I am trying to convince myself to order the Tonga Toast because I love cinnamon and sugar toast..I just have to convince myself I can handle the bananas.

I just perused the food blog link of yours a bit and it says the Tonga Toast comes with macademia butter... so it's a done deal now, Tonga Toast and Kona French Press Coffee for me a week from today!! Wow I cannot believe it a week from today!

It doesn't specifically one with the butter but you can always ask for some of the butter with any breakfast!

A Kona Cafe breakfast is how we always start our vacation First meal of the trip, and between the Big Kahuna, Tonga Toast and the ham and cheese omelette, definately one of the most filling!!

I have never been to this haven of goodness nor have I tried the legendary Tonga Toast. I will just have to make a point of getting over there one of these trips...besides all my trips to 'Ohana.

ooh! I read that review too, made me want it even more! Got two breakfast ADR's for my October visit. Although, I am thinking about trying something other than tonga toast. I know, I know, big mistake just seems like so much to eat before trekking through MK all day.

I found a recipe on Pinterest the other day for Macadamia pancakes - I can't wait to make them! The ones at Kona are soooooo good!

I was debating if I had made the right choice for our last morning in Disney, but this made me very happy! Dbf can't wait to try tonga toast and myself I can't wait to try the pineapple pancakes!
