MVMCP is it worth the extra cost?

Ok opinions needed here! Do you think taking my Mother, age (70), to this party would be fun for her? I will gladly spend the extra money if it is worth it!
This will be her only trip to WDW because it took me 30 years to talk her into this one! Would will still see most everything if we did not go to the party? Our travel dates are 11/09/12 to 11/16/12.:shrug:

Yes!!! If she enjoys parades and a great fireworks show then definitely. Just make sure you arrive AT LEAST 30mins early to each for a good spot. Plus free cookies! A vote of yes here from me.

Yes yes and triple yes! You will still see the rides and Wishes and the Castle decorated in "ice" if you don't attend but the Christmas party is special b/c of the special parade and fireworks show. Also, it "snows" on Main Street and you get hot cocoa and cookies! Its so wonderful!
