Anyone know when about they're expected to be released, or when they have in the past? This is my first year as a passholder, and am hoping for some August discounts.

I posted the same question a few weeks ago. I also called Universal. In short, no one knows. (I was hoping someone might have historical information from last year.)

On a side note, Universal is REALLY odd about making payments. You can make a 1 nights deposit on a room only, but you can't pay the balance off unless you fill out a credit card form, copy your ID, and send it to their accounting department. I've never heard of a hotel chain that won't take your payment via credit card over the phone.

They've been doing this for years. It's not Universal, it's Lowe's, the company who manages the hotels on site. I hate it because I like to pay it off before I go, but in payments and not at once. This makes it difficult.

A side note, join the Lowe's loyalty program. It is free and has it's advantages!

We got ours when we checked in last year! Already got a Fl res discount for June and it was awesome
