Considering changing trip dates

So we just booked a trip with some of my wife's family for November 30th through December 9th. However my sister-in-law is waiting to hear about a new job in the next few days and if she gets it she will not be able to go on those dates but could go sometime in September or October.

Does anyone have any suggestions on when to go? I know the free dining is only currently offered through the end of September so I was thinking about trying to get in for that time but we would like to stay at Port Orleans French quarter and it seems that a lot of that time is already booked up for that resort but not all of it.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts on the matter.

If you're going to switch, try to go during Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, held September 28, 2012 to November 11, 2012!

Sept or Oct is a great time to go. Food and Wine, Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party will both be going on. Since free dining is being offered, your first pick resort, unfortunately, might be booked up during that time.
