Angry Birds attractions in Disney World?

Plus, if they were going to do video game characters, I'd rather them use existing characters from ACTUAL video games and not a silly little time killing phone app that became an obnoxious fad.

Hah! I love this idea actually. Won't be a Potter-killer or an E-ticket or anything, but I think it's a fun little property that has some potential. I think it's cool that we're getting to the point where it's not just blockbuster movies that are culturally relevant enough to be made into big theme park attractions.

Agreed. Maybe some park will add a Facebook ride.

Angry Birds is not fit for an attraction.

It's a fun little distraction for a few minutes, but there isn't a plot, and it's not really too easy to make a ride in the style of Haunted Mansion or Pirates of the Caribbean, where there really isn't a whole lot of storyline, without a broad enough subject area.

Plus it's a fad that would probably die by the time construction would go vertical.

Some games might be good for rides. Angry Birds is definitely not one of them.

It would be a dream come true for me if they had Final Fantasy characters in the park. :)

Good grief, no.

Disney is about creating unique placemaking experiences, carefully developed fantasy or (hyper)realistic worlds. Not about the latest celeb or brand or cartoon characters.

Disney should not be a poor man's Las Vegas. Not a place where one can find a Planet Hollywood, superheroes, loud music, screaming neon colors, and a celebrity real or cartoon at every ten yards telling you you are having a magical time. :hurl:
