Do I need a Park Ticket in addition to MVMCP ticket to attend?

Hi there everyone, long time lurker and finally decided to join the forum. I will be in Disney From the 13th to the 19th, and had a question regarding the MVMCP.

The event runs from 7:00 until 12:00 midnight, but from other accounts I've read that you can get in around 4:00? Is this true?

Also, is the ticket for MVMCP good for admission inside the park and event, or just the event itself and would need to use a day on our passes to get in also?

Just wondering because I've been debating on doing a 4 or 5 day pass, but would skip the 5th day if we can get in MK around 4 or 5 using just the MVMCP tickets.

Just a little confusion, if someone could help me clear this up it'd be greatly appreciated!

You only need the event ticket once going to the park around 4pm. If you want to go before 4 pm you will then need a regular park ticket.

If you purchase a MVMCP ticket then it is good from 4pm to midnight for the party. Unless you plan on coming to the park earlier in the day then you do not need an additional day. Your MVMCP ticket will allow you to ride the rides and experience everything that the party offers!

Nope.. all you need is a MVMCP ticket to get in at 4:00. Make sure you get in the "Party" line to enter. There is only a $12 difference (base ticket) between the 4 day and 5 day... So maybe you could squeeze in a extra day:king:
