Best episode ever. Gonna go on record saying that Stephanie was so annoying. Glad Michelle won Princess for the day. Steph totally ruined the day and stole the spotlight. You let her go in front of you - get over it. Clearly...I'm still bothered by it. :lol:

Don't get me started! Actually, Michelle got on my nerves too (spoiled last born/baby)! And how they jumped around from park to park all in one day, got perfect seats for Indiana Jones when they showed up last minute, and still made it in time to be in the 3 o'clock parade at the MK!?! I was actually at WDW when they were filming and we filmed them while we were at Indiana Jones. LOVE those two episodes to death.

Anyways, as a smaller scale fish tank hobbiest... Not saying this is the case, but when I maintain the tanks, what can happen is when you are siphoning the bottom (Sand, gravel, ect) it stirs everything up into the water and doesn't get all siphoned out. This leaves you with very cloudy water. Picture not being able to see your fish unless they are up to the glass kind of cloudy. But luckily this problem only lasts about a day as the stuff in the water settles again. Another issue is when you replace the water (This happens even when you start a new fresh tank) there are so many tiny bubbles that the tank looks cloudy from that. Combine the two and you would be better off going to Turtle Talk than to see a wall of cloudiness. And considering that The Seas is on a large scale, they must not do siphoning of the bottom regularly. But as far as water goes, the larger the tank, the easier it is to maintain water quality. If it was indeed an outbreak in the water itself, there are treatments that change the water all types of colors. One I have used often is one that turns the water a florescent greenish yellow. It makes the tank look like it has a power plant leak. But I could probably say safely that it is not the case because these chemicals need to run for days without filtration and need to be added over that time.

Guys, stop shouting. It was a water quality issue which left behind a less than magical image that most guests would prefer not to see. I`ll leave it there and I`ll leave it to you to imagine what happened.

I was in EPCOT yesterday for a friend's birthday and we rode Nemo and walked around a bit before and after Turtle Talk w/Crush. Everything looked fine to me...

We had lunch at the Coral Reef on Oct 9 and didn't notice any problems. Something must have happened after this. Good thing we switched our reservations from Mon to Sun!

They need to adopt my solution. Have individual tanks or tanks that only go one or two windows wide and are only have a horizontal width going back from the viewer of 10 or 12 feet. Then they could be themed as true "coral reefs" rather than what appers to be open ocean.

The newer technology of these tanks can look utterly amazing. Almost beyond description they are so awesome. And it would allow them to drain the main tank and install some new stuff (maybe even a new attraction) at The Seas pavilion.

OK, another problem solved. I am moving on to the next one. Glad I could be of assistance here.

I thought of that but I really think any sort of retrofit would not be capable of putting it on par with the newer tech aqariums such as the one in Atlanta. It is stuck in the 70's technologically. So I think in this case a "less is more" strategy might work better. If you have ever seen the coral reef tank at the aqarium in Gatlinburg, Tenn you would understand why it would be an amazing option for the Coral Reef restaurant at EPCOT. It is one of the most amazing things I have ever seen. Seriously.
