The BW is a blast. Walking up and down at night is fun. The atmosphere is great. The stores are fun to walk through. You can go to Jellyrolls or the Dance Hall. If I recall correctly, inside the lobby somewhere, they have those old Penny Film machines you can look through.

It's a nice leisurely 10 minute walk or you can wait for the boat. I usually walk to the BW and take the boat back just to switch it up.

It's worth the trip, with some nice shops and restaurants. You can do cool stuff like rent a surry and watch the performers.

I grew up 5 minutes from the Boardwalk in New Jersey, so not quite as interesting to me as some but our family still makes it a point to go every visit.

It must be good so

Thinking Yachtsman Steakhouse may be reason enough :slurp:

I've only been one time at night and it was a lot of fun catching the performers and enjoying the lights. Daytime is pretty good, too, watching the boats and the people on the surrey bikes.

Boardwalk is my favorite resort on the property! So much atmosphere, and so much to do. There's always a lot going on at night, so definitely wander down there one night.

As for restaurants...there are definitely better sitdown options across the way at Yacht and Beach, though people love Flying Fish Cafe (I'm not a seafood person, so I've never been there).

Definitely go to Jellyroll's one night...it's a fun dueling pianos bar. Great atmosphere. I'm not a fan of Atlantic Dance Hall, much as I love to dance. It seems to be the place where the locals migrated to after Pleasure Island closed. It has a sleazy vibe to it. But Jellyroll's is great!

I love being able to walk to two parks at the Boardwalk. It's very convenient.
