The thing from the model that concerns me is the casey jr area. In previous pictures we saw a nicely themed water play area. In the model it looks like a circus train without any play aspect.
With these new angles on the model, one detail I'm very impressed with is the manner they came up with to hide the back part of the Little Mermaid building from being visible down the access road between LM and the tents: An outcropping that goes across the roadway, but still allows vehicular access underneath.
From the time the models and plans came out, I'd been worried about that one particular angle. I'm glad WDI thought of it, and they didn't end up with a situation like at IOA where you have a great themed exterior that eventually runs into a plain, unthemed warehouse building visible from some angles (examples: Potter's castle and Poseidon's Fury)

did anyone else think it's strange they didn't zoom in or linger on mermaid or BatB? they just flew straight to the least exciting part of the expansion..

The view that I'm worried about is when looking from inside storybook circus towards LM. There doesn't appear to be any theming on that side of the building and the tents aren't tall enough to totally obscure it.
There will be trees there, I'm guessing.
I'm sure Disney thought it through and they will hide that part of the building somehow.
(Let's just hope they don't paint it blue with clouds like over at DHS :hurl![]()

Good the water play area seemed stupid to me.
It was just a model.
It could still end up as a water play area, which is NOT stupid in any way.
Yes it is and I hope TDO realized it and cancelled it.
Can you explain why a water play area is stupid?
Donald's Boat was a huge hit in the old TT. It gave kids a place to run around, blow off a little energy, and cool down at the same time. Heck, some days I took a little walk through myself just to get sprayed. And Donald's Boat was themed pretty well for a water play area. If you ever went inside, there was the cutest map on the inside of the boat.
I don't understand why anyone say a water play area (especially in an area dedicated to younger children) is stupid?
Based on the video of this model, it seems as though the castle wall perimeter separates the old fantasy land (Pooh, Peter Pan, Mikey's Philharmagic) from the new fantasy land. Is this the case? If so, it seems to me that this would create a traffic nightmare from people trying to get from one of the existing rides to the new section. Does anyone have any insight on this?
