July 30th- Aug 8th
I can't believe we are this close. These days have been dragging on. Trying to keep myself and the little ones busy. I have two children- a 6 year old daughter and a 3 year old son. This is a surprise trip for them, they have no clue! We are driving down from NJ for the first time!! We have done road trips before- Hilton Head so we are only adding on a few more hours!! I try and keep myself up beat about this!! We are saving around $600-700 by driving and we love road trips. So unless we get some really cheap flights in the next two weeks we are driving!
Ok so this is my first attempt at posting pictures......
Here is my family- DH and the kids:
And here is me and my daughter on my birthday!
This is who is traveling with us on the road trip! To add to the surprise, after they realize where we are, my mom and her brother, his wife, their grandson (12) and a family friend( to watch the 12 year old!) are meeting us there.
The plan is not to say a word about anything to the kids until the last possible minute. You know when I need to pack everyone up and the stuff for the road trip. Thinking 3-4 days before we leave! Not saying where we are going - just on a road trip! My daughter can read so she is going to see the Florida signs and then the WDW signs! Can't wait to see her face. My kids absolutely love Disney. This is my daughters 4 trip! And last time my son was only 15 months old so he will enjoy it more this time!!
Our game plan is to pack up the car on the 29th. My husband will come home early from work so we can have an early dinner and off to bed. We are hoping to fall asleep shortly after the kids but I know it will be difficult to sleep. A - because hello we are going to Disney and B- because you know how hard it is to sleep when you know you need to...sigh! Anyway we plan to be up at 4 and out as soon as possible. We plan to drive to the border of Georgia/Florida and spend the night! We are packing breakfast and lunch and will stop for dinner. Plus all the misc stops......
That is the driving game plan.....next up Disney!!!!

We will either be in MK or Epcot or both! We will see what we have accomplished, what needs to still get done or what the kids want! We have dinner at Ohana and I am so excited!! We have never ate there before!
