I'm heading to WDW august 14th and was thinking about all the expansions stuff I have seen online. Is the Fantasy land expansion kind of ruining the Magic Kingdom Experience while at the park? Magic Kingdom is always the 1st and last park we visit.

How should the expansion "ruin" the Magic Kingdom experience?

I am just guessing here, But the OP probably means with the walls, the closures, the fences, the cranes, the construction noise (if any) could interfere with the "feeling" of being in a fantasy world....and kindve is a hint of reality that is not normally IN the magic kingdom.

But, you have to break things down to build them back up. Rome wasnt built in a day. In the long run, FLE will be a very amazing place, and will be worth the issues its having currently imo

Outside of Fantasyland and along the Speedway in Tomorrowland, you shouldn't really notice any construction on the expansion.

In May while we were there, you can certainly see the construction when you look in that direction from Fantasyland. But even though we could see people working and a crane moving, we didn't hear any construction noise in Fantasyland.

I would enjoy the fact you get to see something new being created. Take pictures and post them here so we can see the progress!! :D

Except for the wall, people in Fantasyland dont notice ANYTHING different about the entire area -- so it certainly doesn't "ruin" the experience for anyone.

There isn't any noise coming from over there, and people don't realize how huge of an area they are working in.

You can also get a great "backstage" look at the expansion by taking the train ride around....but even from the train, all you see it a momentary glimpse of the construction.
