What a horrible line up, those poor kids

DD and friends are more excited about hanging out with other seniors from all over the US than who is on stage. They are doing a Senior 2011 version of Magic, Memories and You!. The kids can upload their senior pics to WDW prior to attending, give Disney the night they are attending and then look for themselves on Cinderella Castle during the show. Pretty neat idea. As a teacher/chaperone/parent, I will probably cry if I see DD or any other of my students' pics on the castle! I am such a sap sometimes:cry:

Man, its like they didn't even try with that line up. Then again, it is the final year they are doing it so I guess they figured there's no need to put effort into it.

What's with the hate?!? 3OH!3 and Taio Cruz are huge right now... methinks some of the folks commenting here are a little over the HS age...

:p:lol:

:p:lol:

I'm 22. 3OH!3 were mildly famous last year, they are practically unheard of this year. Taio had one hit song. Neither of them are huge in any sense of the word.

Disney is scraping the bottom of the barrel with this lineup.

My very first visit to WDW was Grad Night '81. The entertainment that night was Sister Sl3dge ( ♪♫ We are Family ♫♪). Me and my friends walked into the performance area, listened for 3.5 seconds, and realized that Disney actually thought that they knew what they were doing. We walked away chuckling.

Edit: I'm not allowed to type the word "sledg3". Too funny!

GRAD NITE '83 :sohappy:

You are my age....."Wild and Free in '83" Right?! I asked DD and her posse if the entertainment was the draw. Their answer was "Boys, boys, boys are the draw and bragging rights (not many students from Louisiana get to attend Grad Nite) when they return to high school the following week." I didn't know whether to smile or frown:lookaroun They already have meetings set up with friends they've made as a result of Disney's Grad Nite facebook site. How the world has changed since I was the Class of '83!!
