Dining Times & Wishes(or whatever fireworks show for the summer)

We have two nights where we're trying to catch Wishes from outside MK...or whatever fireworks show WDW decides to do in MK over the summer (Summer Nightastic again?).

On our first night, we have a 9:30pm ressie at California Grill and fireworks are set to start at 10. Assuming we're seated in an area where we can see the show- does this sound like a good time to be seated to watch while we dine? It seemed to be to me, but I wasn't sure if I should change to the 9:40pm slot I saw (assuming it's still there) just to be safe. I can't imagine being seated at 9:30 and be done before 10, but I just want to double check my logic. :ROFLOL:

Secondly, we have a dinner ressie at 'Ohana our last night of the trip. I don't want to watch Wishes from 'Ohana. The plan was to have dinner and head over to the Poly beach. Once again- fireworks start at 10pm and we have an 8:40pm ressie at 'Ohana. We planned on arriving a litle early in case things are running late, but does this ressie time sound too early, too late, or just right? (I feel like Goldilocks!)

If anything, it might be too late, not too early. They won't seat you right at 9:30 in most cases. I would say you are fine to keep the 9:30 pm

Too late for both id say. Our kids literally fell asleep on the table last year at california grille. Make sure you get a good nap in.

Yup- last trip our girls took a good long nap each day. I recall one day last trip where the nap was so good they stayed up past midnight. Mommy and daddy on the other hand were ready to drop! :snore:

Whenever we have eaten at California Grill the waiters have timed our meal round the fireworks e.g. between starter and entree so that we could go outside to watch. Hope this helps :animwink:
