Is Spectro Magic really going to California

I asked a CM 2 weeks ago how long the Electrical Parade was going to stay for and she said Spectro Magic was going to Disneyland. Anyone know anything about this, I think it would have been posted by now. I hope one of the 2 will be running there on time for my first trip to Disneyland.

Probably not, if anything Electrical Parade will probably just come back to DLR.

Barnacles... I was hoping it would be there for my first visit to Disneyland. I hope the Electrical Parade will work its way back by then. And yes a store worker told me this but also said it could be just rumor. But still who would even think to say such a thing? I also heard it was going overseas which would be very upsetting but then I also heard the Electrical Parade only moves because its smaller and easy to transport. Allot of Spectro Magic floats would have to be completely dismantled to be moved so there it stays at home. What ever happens it would be a shame to go to disney without a light parade, especially for a first trip to Disneyland .

I don't think you will be upset. By the time you see Fantasmic!, World of Color and hopefully Remember...(the fireworks show), you won't miss a light parade at all. When is your trip?

I don't know if the Electrical Parade is coming back to Disneyland or if SpectroMagic is taking its place, but either one would be better than a bedraggled magnolia (to quote a biography on Walt Disney) like Light Magic.

From what I have seen neither one is coming to DL any time soon but Fantasmic and World of Color should lesson the blow. In addition depending on when you're coming TLM might be open. Let me be the first to welcome you to DL and DCA. I hope you enjoy your trip.

I really doubt the Spectro at Disneyland rumor. That popped up about a year ago when the Electrical Parade left DCA and went to WDW, but it's a rumor that hasn't been heard from since (except for chatty Florida shop clerks on Main Street). I think people were just assuming there was a bi-coastal parade swap going on, instead of just a one-way loan of the Electrical Parade.

Disneyland is debuting a new daytime parade, Soundsational, this Memorial Day weekend. From all the art and advance news, it looks to be a real winner.

I want Spectro back in WDW. I think it is far superior to MSEP. My personal preference.

How did they expect to pull off that show off. It was just a bunch of dancing fairies and a screen display at the end. I hope the Electrical Parade doesn't disappear when Spectro Magic comes back. I call it Eisner's masterpiece.

Thanks, I am dyeing to see World of Color. I do want to see the Electrical Parade being used somewhere. I can't see them not using it since they just redid it. My wishful thinking says maybe they will just combine the two and use the Spectro Magic music LOL .
