Was wondering if England in World Showcase had any Dr. Who items? I'd love to find some.

I'd also love to see Disney try to develop an attraction but that'll come as soon as they give Fox and The Hound a stage show! :brick:

Huge Dr. Who fan here also. Got hooked back in the 80's when PBS used to run the Tom Baker years. I try watching the new episodes on BBC America but cant quite get into it.

I would love to see some merchandise in Epcot.

I've never seen any Dr. Who stuff at the World Showcase but I love the show and would support an attraction. Dr. Who is a very family oriented show that has alot of good messages I think. I could see it fitting in well especially at Epcot if Disney had the rights to it.

DD21 just returned from the World last night. She has a Dr. Who T-shirt that she purchased in Ireland last year, and wore it Tuesday while in Epcot. She told me she had CM's from all over the park chasing her down to tell her how much they loved her shirt!

Who's the current Doctor in America? I don't know if you run behind the UK, is it Matt Smith, I haven't got over the change over from David Tennant, he was THE BEST Doctor in my opinion, but I'm a 33 year old female!

Matt Smith. DW11 ran on BBC America last year. Currently available on Comcast OnDemand for the second time. I really like Pond as the new companion, but then I'm a 62 year old coot!:ROFLOL:

Do you mind me asking where in Ireland she got that t-shirt? My DD15 is a huge fan and would love a t-shirt:wave:

There's something for everyone! I think her skirts are too short! But then as I said I'm a 33 year old female!

We have Matt Smith currently in the U.S.. I do agree that David Tennant was the best but Rose(Billie Piper) was my favorite companion.

We are definitely behind with Torchwood though and I'm missing that alot.:(

As far as I know, the Matt Smith stuff hasn't really hit us yet. I'm watching it online, but the last I saw on SyFy was Tennant. I don't have BBC America though. Matt Smith could be blowing it up right now...

Yeah, I don't know if SyFy is really picking up the new episodes or not because BBC America has had a full season of Matt Smith. He's good I just havent warmed up to him like I did with Christoper Eccelston and Dave Tennant.

I'd love to see Dr. Who merchandise (favorite companion: Nyssa). Is there anything in the U.K. pavilion based on a TV show? I used to watch Benny Hill, Dave Allen, Monty Python, and Absolutely Fabulous quite a bit, and I thought they were all really funny.

Don't remember seeing any Dr Who related items last september. I didn't realise it was popular in America.
Are you kidding?!!? When I was a teen I had a scarf like the Fourth Doctor's (Tom Baker) that I wore when I rode my scooter to school!! I wanted to be Leela! If Epcot ever added Dr. Who merch. I couldn't get my daughter out of the park! She loved David Tennant's (spelling?) Doctor, but is okay with the US' current one. Just think, if we had a TARDIS we could visit WDW anytime past, present or future!

I don't know what you've seen but I've seen all three seasons (series) here in Florida on BBC America. The most recent season (series 3) was the Children of Earth mini-series in 2009.

Season (series) 4 isn't out yet. It's a collaboration with the US movie channel, Starz:
A fourth series, co-produced by BBC Cymru Wales, BBC Worldwide and US premium entertainment network Starz will air in 2011 as Torchwood: Miracle Day, with Los Angeles as its predominant setting.
So it's not a matter of being behind on episodes for me, it's just a matter of a LONG break between seasons!

That makes sense. It had been so long in since Children of Earth debuted that I assumed it had already started up again. Thanks for the info.:)
