Why is it that the WDW Space Mountain never had a soundtrack thru out the ride? They just refurbished it to.
Uh, well it DOES have music now. Just not IN the rockets.
No, there is a new audio system that plays during the ride.Yeah in the que area and the post show. I mean the ride itself like the one in California.
No, it wasn`t. As I said just 4 posts ago it was engaged August 30th. I was lucky enough to be there that day. The previous day the new lift hill audio fx were running in isolation, the following day the whole system was turned on.It wasn't there in april.
Oh please. Don`t even. This one is blamed fair and square on Holmes cutting it. 2 Soundtracker systems were tested on the ride for months early last year. The audio was made to fit. It was ready to go with the Matterhorn prototype sleds modified to take speakers. Then it was dropped. Along with the other things too numerous to mention.I think the main reason why WDW space mt. didn't have audio is probably because it didn't really need it..

Each to their own. I enjoy both. Well, all 3 if you count Paris. And found synced onboard audio added to the experience. I also loved Anahiem for what it is, with or without music. But that`s another topic. And again, it doesn't really need it. WDW's space mt. unlike the one in DL is actually a good roller coaster. All the extra stuff it got during the refurb was a plus but not needed with the exception of maybe the airgates.

Yeah, to be fair, the music is nowhere near loud enough, and if you're screaming and not knowing to listen for it, I can see how people could not notice it.The music audio is there.....barely.....I rode the ride a least 5 times in the past 10 days and was listening for it, and you can barely hear it.....you can hear the effect audio (when you go around curves and over bumps very well) but the music is almost unnoticeable....it is very easy not to hear....I've read all the posts and went in expecting music....and it's not anything what I expected....love the refurb though, Disney did a great job with everything except the audio.
