Pooh's Thotful Shop to be renamed Hundred Acre Goods

I love it, I think it's cuter than the old name. :)

Plus I like that it's spelled properly. I just do not like anything spelled improperly, I think it's silly and so unneccessary.

I think it is just another example of Disney Corporatism overtaking what was once a premium vacation experience.

TDO obviously has no vision when it comes to shop names any more. Their last good shop name was in 1994.

And another thing...wait...hold on...hmm? We don't care about this one? Oh, okay...in that case, it's fine. :lookaroun

They're both simplistic puns, but I do think the new one is a slight step below as it requires even less familiarity with details of the stories.

Pooh is a bear of very little brain, his spelling isn't perfect. As a reference to the stories and characters the store name worked well.

Also it's amusing to me that you spelled unnecessary wrong.

I for one blame Paul Pressler, Michael Eisner, Louisa May Alcott, and Kim Jong Il.

I like the old name  I get bugged by misspelled words, too, but it flows with Pooh's writings in the cartoons. The name seems kinda cheesy, to me. Either way, though, I probably wouldn't even glance at the store name when I go in to buy something lol

Pooh spells Honey wrong too (hunny). Should they change that since it's silly and unnecessary? Or should we understand that it goes with the theming of the Pooh Story.

I am ok with it.

In fact, in print, the new name better conveys the purpose of the store.

If you saw "Pooh's Thotful Spot" on printed media, it is not clear what exactly it is. It could be a ride, it could be a place to sit, it could be a library

"The Hundred Acre Goods" implies that some sort of goods are sold there. Maybe food, maybe gifts - who knows, but it is a store

I think the original name of the store was Pooh's Thotful Shop, not Spot... :lookaroun

But yes...

Well, that would make a difference, wouldn't it.

You can tell how often I am in that spot/shop

They could name it "Pile O' Pooh" and would not care :)
