I recall hearing a while back that there were some photos of the interior of Kongfrontation during its demolition (to make way for Mummy) floating around. Can anyone point me toward these?
I thought I also heard somewhere that Kong himself might still be in the building, hidden away.
From my understanding, one of the AA's survived and was moved into storage. A very good friend of mine who works there even claims to have seen the AA recently. Both AA's were scrapped. Trams were sold off. The track is all that's left.
From what I've heard, they did the same thing in Hollywood when Mummy took over the E.T. ride. I've never been, yet, so I can't confirm.
Universal says ET in California closed in May of 2003 and was replaced by Revenge of the Mummy.E.T. is still at Universal Studios Hollywood. Mummy was built in the building next to E.T.
E.T. is still at Universal Studios Hollywood. Mummy was built in the building next to E.T.
That's not true. Mummy replaced E.T.
I was there last week and you can still vaguely see where the E.T 20th anniversary logo was painted on the roof.
Yeah the Mummy took over the ET Building.
Here's a link to BingMaps where you can see the outline of the ET 20th Logo.

Neat idea. Just a little error I caught there, The Simpsons ride is not in Universal Studios Japan nor is it in singapore.
