Magic Kingdom Question

My fiance's family wants to stop at the Magic Kingdom during our summer trip to Florida. They want to go on Monday, August 2nd and I wanted to get an idea of just how crowded it might be. I thought that at least being a weekday it would be better than the weekend, but am still fearful of how bad it will be.

Does anyone have any input on how crowded and how long lines will be?

Thanks!!:)

You're going during peak season, so crowds will be high. You're not going to get as much of the "locals" during the weekday, but it will still be crowded regardless. Expect long lines.

Yeah there will be very long lines while you go, but as people have said utilize the fastpass and try to go to places where people are not. Just remember even with the crowds you will have fun and just enjoy your day.

touringplans.com has a crowd calendar. I can only see till the end of July since I have not paid for membership, but if you look at it you could probably get an idea.

According to touringplans.com, the crowd level for 2 August is 8 (10 being the highest). The best park is Epcot and park to avoid is Hollywood Studios. In my opinion, I find touringplans.com highly accurate.

Touring plans is pretty good.

If you get to a park when it opens you can knock of some of the big attractions first, that way you feel like the trip will be worth it.

Yup... get there early and you should be ok.

My wife and I spend our anniversary at WDW every August. We make sure to get to the parks early if there's anything specific we really want to do.

It'll be crowded, don't go in with the expectation that you're going to be able to ride/see everything, and make sure you take water and shade breaks and you'll have a great day!
