URGENT! Which house would you recommend at the Poly?

We have finally decided to stay at the Polynesian as our deluxe hotel (after five days at the Pop) during our trip to the world in september. And now we need some advice which houses in the Poly are recommendable the most. We don't mind about a longer walk to the Great Ceremonial House or the pools, we prefer a quiet room and a good view.
Which houses would you say meet our demands best? Thanks.

First ask if you can get any free specials like being bumped up for free to concierge, they might do this or also you could have a better chance of this if you going on a special occasion. If you get bumped up ask to stay at Hawaii, offers beautiful view of the castle and a great big room with a huge window that is nice to get ready for the day in(packing bag, eating, etc.) the morning.

If not, yah, Tahiti because it offers a building in between both pools and also not a long walk from the main building.

Don't forget to smell the air as you walk inside the main building.

As close as you can get to the TTC. The bus stop is on that side as well. If you're on the side of the resort closest to the Magic Kingdom, it would be quite a hike to get to the bus stop and the TTC for Epcot.

How do you ask for a free special without looking presumptuous? I never did that before, I mean, do I check in and first ask about free specials?

checked it out...

Just checked out the website you quoted and it was great. I decided to save it since we will be staying at the Poly on our vacation next year. Thanks!
Tocolua (sic) was nice. I highly recommend going to Tikimanpages.com for a complete rundown of the polynesian and all longhouses.

That would be Samoa that is between the two pools and it is a great location. I prefer Tokelau because some of the garden veiw rooms can see the castle, it has the larger rooms and has balconies on both upper floors.
