Hello all -- the last time I was at WDW there were only 4 resorts and no ADRs, so as I'm trying to plan a trip for my wife, soon-to-be 3 year old daughter, and myself, I'm trying to get a better handle on everything that's changed.
One question I can't get past is how do I book a trip to take advantage of the promotions that Disney is offering (35% off rack rates, free meal plans, etc.) while still staying outside of the 180 day ADR window? I realize that not all restaurants require that you book your ADR at exactly 180 days out, but I'd love to get my daughter into the Cinderella's Royal Table meal at some point which I understand requires some good speed-dialing skills and a mastery of fast talking. The deals on Disney's site all run for less than 180 days into the future, so I'm at a bit of a loss.
Does anyone have some advice on how to have my cake and eat it too, or is this simply a matter of choosing what's most important? Thanks very much for any help -- and thanks for all the great info on this site. Makes for some good reading when I don't feel like getting any work done!
