How exactly do they 'refurbish' a rest room?

Hey, STeve, I've got a question that I didn't get to ask before leaving last week, will the refurbishment also include the bulding that houses the restrooms?
I'm just asking because the walls extend out of the breezeway and into Adventureland.
Yeah good question. I'm assuming so, but don't know for sure.

I imagine they update or replace any IR sensors that are not working or replace tired looking fixtures. Check for mold and things like that. Wouldn't think it's much different than if you or I would update a home bath.

I know we're all for refurbs/rehabs, but talk about taking you out of the story. Is there any section of the park WITHOUT walls up right now?

Eh, I used to buy that, but I don't anymore. It may not be as crowded as Christmas week, but there hardly any slow times at Disney anymore. It's always crowded. They should spread these projects out a bit.

I am too. I just don't like all the facades and walls up. I can't remember the last trip I took there that they weren't everywhere.

Were you there over the summer? :lol: MSUSA had a good number, TL was FILLED, and FL, too. I agree, it does look odd.

Glad to hear they're doing some updates to this specific bathroom. I hate to post a silly opinion, but that one needs a lot more air fresheners too. It always smells like an indoor outhouse. :lookaroun

Agreed I hate when people complain about refurbs!
I hope they get a full refurb as they are old and they have been well used. Maybe JT will come along and say it's just a prefurb so only the hand soap and paper towels are being refilled and everything else wwill be the same :ROFLOL:
The restrooms all over wdw have been getting some love the past 2 years. Good to see they are getting all the MK one's finished as imagine some of these have never had a full refub since they opened.

You seem to hate when people complain about anything to do with WDW.
People that "complain" about refurbs are probably people that are there when they're doing all the refurbs at once (seemingly). Or, they're people that know that if Disney wanted to spend a few extra bucks, they could dramatically reduce the time things are closed for refurbs.

I do not believe I have ever been in this restroom before.
With a tiny bladder, I am a huge bathroom guy (You Suck France!), but never made the trip here. Huh.
Something to make sure I hit next trip. Add that to the WS boats, a Main Street vehicle, the MK train, Riverside to DTD boat, and Off Kilter as things to take a first run on.
Count me excited!
