Attendance way above projections

Attendance right now is WAY above projections....even above what Disney was expecting. Just thought I'd let everyone know if you are planning on going to to the parks anytime soon.

Touring Plans is showing a 9 for today, and then 10s for the rest of the year. Not sure how much more crowded beyond that the parks can get, but it sounds like WDW is going to find out!

At AK it was near the mid 30's yesterday...that should tell you something. It's gonna be very busy at WDW.

I don't know how you figure this. I know about 20 people that were ER'd today from Animal Kingdom before 1:00.

Well I didn't work today or yesterday, but MK had extended park hours for the 21st - 23rd. The park was extended an hour each day.

I'll be there over New years eve so i guess i'll find out. I'm used to the crowds there though since the main vacation times we go are NYE and July 4th so we won't be overwhelmed.

So I guess the crowd is a 10+ ????

After living there and going there for 3 years on Christmas, I really advise opening your presents and watching the parade on TV.

Studios was packed on Tuesday, Dec 22, but Wednesday & Thursday were just seemed like an average summer day. Expect Studios to be packed on Saturday, Dec 26th with the Christmas Crowds & Extra Magic Hours.

Most people know how often I visited the parks in the 3 years (04-06) i lived there. Visited on every holiday at least once, countless hurricanes. Cold rain on Christmas once, snow flurries on Thanksgiving once, 80 degrees on christmas once. I've seen the parks at phase 4 and i've been one of a handful of guests. I've walked across the concrete jungles of Epcot in 110 degree heat and only had a 3 inch piece of plexiglass between me and a tiger.

I never thought I would say this but I'm glad I don't live there anymore. I'm glad i can't see what has become of my beautiful parks, all in the name of profit.

On this poz note i can say I sent en email to SEVERAL disney emails including, IGER, meg crofton, GR at wdw & DLR, along with several others. I did get a very rare call from WDW GR regarding my email. it is a copy of a quote i put in several threads here. Anyway, since it landed on meg & bob's desk they called me. It was a very long chat with her, nice lady named april. WE had about a 45 min chat, about the many negative things posted here on the boards, many of which are true & hurt disney fans that knew Disney b4 it became the greedy $$ grubbin company that it is today. When they WOULD spend $$ on broken things, keep things clean & taken care of before they fell apart. :fork:
