So I've been all over WDW for many weeks now and here are some brief updates

-All merchandise with 2009 is 50% off. This includes all the brand new Christmas stuff, including MVMCP merch and limited edition pins.

-No more pin trading tables at DTD - Epcot is basically the only place left to find big traders occasionally.

-I couldn't find the missing whirly gig near Mouse Gear - did it get replaced?

-New sculpture thing at Innoventions with little dioramas - sposored by a med school

-IBM has new signs on the wall around its exhibit

-JII still has the work ladder sitting in plain sight during the last scene with Figment and the crane ugghh:brick:

-the Brazilians are back :hurl::hurl: including groups of 100+ all in full yellow outfits

-many school groups were at the parks - including tons of kids screaming, running around, most likely stealing (saw a group around a pin display with a bunch of empty cards all on the ground)

-noticed that the boat drivers may be in-the-loop than bus drivers  did you know Illuminations shoots off over 6000 shells? :lookaroun

-Rock 'n Rollercoaster had a walk-on standby line yesterday afternoon (~1pm) that was shorter than Fastpass -- very weird

-TTA narration is growing on me -- also the narration around SGE is crackly

-CBJ is becoming crappy - mouths are barely moving, eyebrows stuck in one position, movements super jerky

-finally was able to get the secrets unlocked in TSMM :sohappy:

-lots of construction near Osprey golf course (but not at Osprey Ridge) -- is it a new course? at the intersection of Vista Dr and Bonnet Creek Blvd

That's all for now:wave:

I heard that it was a new resort/course? Not sure though. It's very noticible when you play Osprey.. What a gorrrgeous golf course.

It's located in the carpet space across from Where's the Fire in Innoventions West.
I forget the name of the school, but it's a 15 ft structure that looks like it's made of many small boxes. The boxes at eye level are little dioramas. One is a science lab and another is a conference room with a little projector. Nothing too interesting.

Ah, for me it is. It sounds random. :lookaroun

(EPCOT always seems to have the most random objects.) :D:lol:

I noticed this last week as well. Bo the Buffalo's left eyebrow was almost falling off and was blocking his eye. Also, I noticed that all the heads on the wall seemed to click and clack when they were talking. I am not sure if they were always like that, but after 38 years you would think they could eliminate that sound.

We just got home yesterday and I am going to do a trip report but to comment on a couple of things you mentioned.......

*** Most placed were still not selling the 2009 @ 50% off....only some which is very odd.

*** The South American groups were rampant during the 4th thru 11th and there were big problems on Tuesday the 8th while @ DHS. The was a group from Argentina that casued havoc @ Lights, Motors, Actions... The were chanting and stomping their feet so loudly and wildly that several cast members had to get involved to get them to stop. The "chaperones" (and I do mean that in the most ridiculous sense) were the ones inciting everyone and starting the chants. :brick: They were also @ Planet Hollywood the night before causing issues there as well. I found the South American groups very rude, obnoxious and extremely poorly behaved.

As of Monday the 7th, every store I visited was doing it, but it strictly had to have 2009 somewhere on it. Sometimes the CM didn't know about it at first, but once they scanned the item the computer showed the discount.

I just got home and I must have missed the 50% off merch. Didn't see that at all. :(

Magic Kingdom was PACKED though and TTA had INSANE lines with multiple turns of corrals!! We hit three parks (Epcot, MK and the Studios) and only rode one ride because it was just a madhouse everywhere. The Pop Warner kids were exceptionally annoying with LOTS of yelling and shoving and general rudeness.

The Osborne lights were amazing though. The all LED show was amazingly vibrant in color.

MK was PACKED. Did I mention how packed it was?

We still had fun but boy it was a tiring day!

No a normal night. (MK was open until 1am.) I'm a Florida resident. I'm not foolish enough to do WDW in August! But it was like xmas-nye week busy. Just wall-to-wall people everywhere.

We did three parks and rode ONE ride. We didn't even ride the TTA because it had a 30 minute wait!

TTA @ 30 is scary, I agree. I'm there for MVMCP, so it can't be that bad. EPCOT is the source of my concern.

The click clack sound has been there for years. I thought with the refurb it would be fixed but it was still there when I saw the show in July.
