Guilty. :)

But, lets be honest... It really is Prince Charming's Castle. They went there for the ball! She's just shackin' up with him!

I just had this discussion and I believe we came to the conclusion that it's named Cinderella's Castle because her husband apparently doesn't have a name.
Makes perfect sense.
On a related note...why is Cinderella's Castle at the middle of the Magic Kingdom? If it's in a kingdom, the castle should be named after the king...whoever he is. (This is another unclear point. Is it Prince Charming, in which case he'd be King Charming, or is it his grumpy old dad? It's all quite confusing.)
I was just about to say that...Isn't it HIS castle?

Didn't King Stephan (Stefan) used to have a room there?

:)
Yup.

I would think Aurora wanted something here in the east coast, as she didn't had a larger presence as in DL... ;)

It isn't Cinderella's Castle, it's Cinderella Castle. It represents the ideals and dreams of fairy tales like Cinderella but does not have any possessive terms.

It anybody were to own it, it would be the nameless, grandchild-seeking King as he isn't dead yet. Note the castle where Aurora was born in was named after her father King Stefan, who ruled it.

As for which gender could design a better castle, I'll leave that one to those who dare fight the battle of the sexes.

I can understand it if its The Cinderella Castle, as in, the castle from the movie Cinderella....

But just being titled "Cinderella Castle" just doesn't make sense. It either needs a "the" or to make it possessive. :)

only if his father was dead would he be king

He would be the King formerly known as Prince.

If you look carefully you can see the video cable running up to the TV room in the highest tower from Tomorrowland so the Prince can get his ESPN. That's why you never see the princes in the park - they're watching their games.
