Evidence of missing epcot attractions

Like hidden Mickey's there seems to be some traces of horizons still lingering in Epcot. I haven't found them all yet but I heard there is like 5 clues. I always notice some things from Horizons like the music in the Innoventions music loop and The Horizons shaped flower bed is out in the open. Thats all I really noticed. Some say there are clues of Dream Finder but I cannot find them. I bet Dream Finder has some to but I have yet to find a clue.

...ain't gonna spoil it for you but I'll give ya 2...

1. The Dean Finder door is actually in the ride itself. Its position is right after you meet the Professor and Figment.

2. As for Horizons... next time you're in Mission: Space look at the very center of the gravity wheel in the queue.

There are a few other Dream Finder things that people may think are connected but aren't.

In addition there's Universe of Energy "evidence" as well. In Magic Kingdom there's Mr. Toad stuff. Good stuff to look for and have fun.

In the backstage for Test Track, there are the dark blue and grey colors originally from WOM.

The FP machines for LwtL have the original logo of The Land pavilion.

That Innoventions corridor near the old EPCOT 25 Gallery is from back in the 1980s.

Just some I can think of from the back of my head...

But the biggest evidence of missing EPCOT attractions?

Well, there was that hexagon-shaped building in Future World East... :lookaroun

I wouldnt know that... I boycott Imagination 8 years ago. But I look for clues off the ride and I still love the fountains.

Okay...

There is another Horizons logo in the till (register) desk in M:S store

UoE still has the original logo in the entrance hall mosaic, and Energy, You Make the World go Round is quoted in the show

Most of SSE is still a variation of the original

The old car in the TT standby line is from WOM

A lot of the tech gear in Imaginations line and computer room is real WED gear from the original; if you could get close enough it is still labled. "Flight to the Imagination 5 scene control" is my favourite.

The Living Seas logo is still in the corporate lounge, and it is still called the Living Seas on the dedication plaque

Just a few...

Love this thread! Please post more!

I heard that in the Imagination ride, you can still feel the old track underneath the floor in the Kodak lab...

"If you were to actually dig underneath Epcot, you'd find evidence of these missing Epcot attractions in the fossil record left behind by the massive amounts of Animatronics used in these attractions. The geological spectrum of Animatronic Fossils suggest that the Centertonian Era was rich in Diversity, but dry in Food Resources because of the relatively small deposits of Pneumatic Fuel found in this range of Earthen Ground. Attraceotologists can only speculate what brought an end to the attractions of this spectacular time in pre-history."

Not at Epcot but the green dragon or serpent thing from Horizons now lives in DCA's Hollywood Pictures Backlot. Also iv heard there were some pirates from Horizons? that were put into DL's Pirates they have since been removed when Jack moved in.

I think you mean World of Motion. :)

More significantly, some of the former Audio animatronic figures from the World Of Motion were taken to California and added to Disneyland's Pirates of the Caribbean attraction. While some had feared this re-hab was being made to make the attraction more Politically correct, many were pleased to find these additional figures had been added. Some of the figures were used to help "round out" the Seven Deadly Sins ( pride, sloth, gluttony, wrath, envy, , greed ). Also, some said, that the message was made more clear that all this was leading to the Pirates eventual doom. So there's a moral to the story. I think that moral really was there the whole time , it's just possibly a bit clearer now for anyone who wasn't paying attention to all those pirate skeletons in the first part of the ride.

- Behind the loud and abrassive scaffolds of Test Track, the slender and sleek lines of WOM are still visible. ;)

- One of the...'flying machines' from Horizons now serves as a prop for the Paris Studio's tram tour. (I screamed!)

Uhhh there was NEVER anything musicaly related in the innoventions loop linked to Horizons..So whatever your hearing is something else..:lookaroun
Sorry.... but vintage is right. There is a snippet of "Have you ever looked beyond today, into the future?/Have you ever dreamed the dreams of the children?" at 37:40 in the Mousegear Rotunda version and at arond 16:35 in the regular version.
