Indiana Jones "Jeep Ride" coming to DHS??

I have faith that it will happen, but not any time soon I'm afraid.

Exactly! I was surprised when I found out they had the same layout, the only correlation I could make between the two was the little drop at the end of the ride.

Although, those three corridors is just an illusion. Its the same corridor (the Dinosaur equivilant of the time travel tunnel) but the lighting changes to give the illusion that you're in a different room than you were on the last time your rode.

Actually, the wall moves too. Sometimes the doors are still open when it moves so you can see it changing.

I also love the "car wash effect" during the boulder scene. Fools me every time. I really do feel like I'm going backwards.

yup, another very tricky but amazing effect

here's a cool behind-the-scenes video of the ride - shows how some of the effects work

I love these threads. Indy isn't coming to any WDW park in any form beyond the current stunt show.

Also, to answer a question above Indy and CTX share the EXACT same track lay-out, but that has nothing to do with why an Indy EMV clone hasn't come here.

Oh, and guess what Spirit rode both the Indy coaster in Paris and Indy in Anaheim within one week? On second thought, don't.

Now, can someone please tell me when I can meet the Hulk at EPCOT and when Disney is gonna make UNI move Spidey from IOA to the MK?

I think I'd rather have Stitch, Indy, Star Wars, Muppets, and every single Pixar movie in EPCOT before I have any Marvel there.

As I've said repeatedly, Uni, or whoever ends up owning Uni will retheme MI sooner than later.

As for Marvel in the WDW parks, you will see that within 2 to 3 years. Nobody I saw on the boards suggested it would be immediate.

I do laugh at how you condescend to everyone here however. It's like a running gag line.

Just because you repeat something enough doesn't make it a fact.

I sincerely doubt that.

While I was away enjoying Disney parks -- instead of simply blathering on about them -- I was told Tom Staggs was interviewed and said Marvel characters would not be coming to WDW at all.

I have not heard it, so I don't know if he just meant the ones that are basically 'owned' by Uni like Hulk and Spidey or if he meant all of them.

And while we're on the subject of Marvel, since I've had quite a bit of time (away from Disney forums and talking with industry folks during Emmy week) to digest the deal, I am less sold on it than ever.

While I think it will likely turn out to be a smart pickup by Disney, I also think it will take many years to show real results and it will never be the game-changer that many fanbois seem to think.

Hey, I aim to be predictable.

Yes, JT.

You're great at parroting. That's what I said, congrats.

Now, perhaps someone might 'splain the difference to you between someone who deals in facts and someone such as yourself who makes it up as he goes along.

P.S. What's the Sheriff up to tonight?

You both have no idea what's going to happen, so what's the point of arguing what's fact and fiction?

For all we know, DHS is going to bring back the Muppets Studio.

Some of us have a basis in reality for what we post.

And if Tom Staggs says Marvel characters aren't coming to WDW, well, that's gonna carry a bit more weight than a fanboi like JT, who has often had a tough time with reality.

Love to see it, but it ain't happening either.

This was more about the topic at hand. One argues sheer optimism, the other argues pessimism towards the subject. It's just a rumor, and you have your opinions. Nothing is fact.

I too would love to see it, but it was just a random example to proove a point. You never know, and you can never count things out.

I completely disagree. DAK and DHS need smaller C/D attractions rather than E-tickets.

Thank you DAK needs more C and D than any other parks.

It's an even better fit for AL and a sister attraction for the Jungle Cruise.;)

Yes these attractions go so well together in DL.

You are all nuts.

I would love if this were on the way. :D[/

Yea the argument that they are to similar doesn't work. It is like saying they should close Pooh because its is to similar to SW.
