Hello all, your friendly neighborhood EPCOT aesthetics correspondent here, with just a few picture updates on this, the twelfth day of September in the year Two-Thousand and Nine!

Not to steal any thunder away from the exciting announcements of D23, but I do have a very D64 newsworthy item or two! First off, of course, the Innoventions signage with the wires and purple poles have been removed from the West side. Be warned, gratuitous CommuniCore nudity ahead!

Where the poles used to stand now looks like this...

On a hunch, I took a walk around the entire outer circumference of the pavilion buildings, thinking that if they're giving them a new paint job, it's possible that there might be a paint test somewhere along one of the more hidden walls. No such luck, but re-emerging out into the Plaza from the East breezeway, I did find something else...

compared to the old green railings.. these are nice, and they are ECV friendly with the tension cables...

And EPCOT Explorer was worried that there was no official EPCOT news. (it may not be official, but it's GOOD news)

I wonder what the plaza is going to look like when this is all done. Who normally takes charge of non "press release" projects like this?
