What’s the most you ever saw anyone eat at a buffet at WDW?

On our last visit to WDW we went to the Biergarten. Now I enjoy a good meal and my son is a growing boy so we got up once for dinner, once for dessert and once to get a pretzel roll because we love them! Seated at the table with us was another family who really put us to shame. 2 kids, son 10ish daughter 12ish got up 2 times for dinner and then once more for dessert Wife and husband got up 4 times for dinner and twice for dessert. I was amazed, I’ve been to the Biergarten and many other buffets both inside and outside of WDW many times and never have I seen this level of consumption.

When I go to a all you can eat at WDW I get up many times, but I take very small portions each time so that I can sample many different dishes. What amazes me is when someone gets a plate so full food is falling off the sides and it is six inches high on the plate. I want to walk up to them and let them know that you can go back more than once.

I agree with you. I tend to get up about four times for dinner but put one or two items on my plate. No need to overfill. It also gives me the opportunity to get up, stretch my legs and enjoy the decor.

I have seen my brother and his family almost empty a breakfast buffet at Disneyworld :lookaroun(wife not bad, but husband, boy and girl 23 & 16), HOLY COW!!!!! They thought nothing of it, but I think I was embarrassed enough for everyone! They impressed me though, when they were able to ride RockNRollRoller Coaster & Tower of Terror right after!:hurl:

This also amazes me! Do they not realise they can go up again?

It's important to go up many, many times while at Biergarten- because, of course, you need to continually have the excuse that you're using the huge stein of beer to "wash down" the food!

you want to try a little bit of everything so go up as many times as needed little bit on plate at a time though

We always do the Deluxe dining plan so since there is so much to eat I am always full and at times to full to enjoy a good multi-round buffet. If it's my first buffet at the start of the trip then yes I can do a multi trip buffet.

Last trip (Dec. '08) at Boma, DH and myself were behind this guy at the desert table. The guy literally took every single zebra dome except for one...he had like 20-25 on his plate! We thought it was hilarious but what exactly was the point of not taking the last one...did he not want to look like a pig and take the last one of something?

Heading for the great escape.
Im to busy enjoying mt meal and my time with my family to wate it monitoring the consumption rate of others.

However last time I went to the Biergarten this person kept staring at me as i went backwards and forwards several times, I think they may have been a bit special. They certainly lost the argument when they fell out of the ugly tree, must have hit every branch on the way down.

The entire platter of zebra domes? Seriously?? Boma should have an automatic hand slapper for that. Let's say the limit is, ohhhhh let's go with 10. Pick up a 11 and WHACK! No Domes for you!
