I know this is a naggy subject but it is now september and epcot's birthday is coming up in a month and so far ROE is still there. Is it safe to say skydance is off. Not even change in effects or in music. I know even the fountain colors dont change.

I think it's been put on the back burner. We may see some of it come though in another form, but then again we'll never know as nobody has any idea what SkyDance entails.

I actrualey got a whole music score arranged. I did it out of boardum. The music sounds good but the audio quality sucks but the music is all aranged. I have the show vishualized from start to finish. I just have to find a way to sent it to the writers without having all my credit stollen. It came out good thou.

Last night (9/3/09) around 11:35PM the globe had a fire-type graphic on it and was traveling out to the center of the lagoon. It could have been a test pattern but they also could be testing other graphics. If they were going to go ahead with SkyDance then they wouldn't have upgraded the globe twice this year unless they plan to use it in another version.

The current version of Illuminations: Relections of Earth will celebrate it's 10th anniversary this year on October 1st.

Maby they are changing the show itself you know the show hasn't changed a bit not even the fountain patterns. They need to do audio and effect changes. More effects instead of just the globe and they should have the holograms in synk with it.

And technically it was September 22nd.;) :D That's when Soft Openings began, and the Press Event was held.

Upkeep of Pin Lights, Lasers, Lighting, Barges, Pyro Timings....You know, the works!:D

Also a good opportunity to plus the show, too.

I haven't seen any difference in lighting or fountains other than the strobes on the globe. But those haven't been used in 9 years and all of a sudden were used for a couple of weeks. That was a show lighting design change rather than maintenance.

I'm sure you know that break timing is pretty much uncontrollable. It varies show to show, shell to shell in RoE and Wishes.

Was a good decision. Kudos to whom ever made it. :D

I do know that, and it frustrates me to NO end. Why and how come Wishes goes off every night, perfectly, and RoE has problems!? BOTH should run with the precision that Wishes has.

Red flame-type of screen saver or something. I also see the globe testing backstage every morning around 5AM going through the show. It's pretty impressive close-up especially when it opens.

I would LOVE to see that...:o

Anyway you can get pics? Or a vid?:o:lookaroun
