Four Seasons Hotel inside WDW?

I remeber hearing about a year ago that the Four Seasons hotel chain was building a hotel inside of WDW - Is it true? If so, does anyone know when it expects to open?

It is true. The resort will be on Bay Lake an have a Mediterranean-like theme. As far as I know, no structures have been built and site prep is proceeding. Don't expect an opening for 2-3 more years as a minimum.

Yup. Apparently I've been taking "on Bay Lake" for granted since it was NE corner of property near the Wilderness Lodge. Anyone have an ariel view of where it's gonna be?

Bonnet creak was not snatched. It never belonged to Disney in the first place.

Exactly. Disney was just required to provide access to the property. The only way to get there is to use Disney roads. It's too bad that you can see the resorts from Caribbean Beach.

Thats what I meant...sorry. I remeber hearing about how about a piece of land that was virtually on Disney property that they never could acquire..even after multiple offers. Thats what I meant when I said snatched. Wrong word to use I guess.

Does anyone know the answer to my question though? Is the Four Seasons going to be operated in partnership with Disney? Like the Swan and Dolphin?

The hotel is roughly in the area where the green "Eagle Pines Golf Course" label is on this map, between the two canals.

The lake seen in various artist renderings of the hotel is *not* Bay Lake, and is either a brand-new pond, or is an expansion of one of the already existing golf course ponds.
