Which Value to choose?

:veryconfuWe stayed at Pop several years ago and loved it!! The only drawbacks were the crowded buses and being the last bus stop exiting MK. Should I try AS this year or stick with Pop?
We are going Sept.26-Oct.3.

Really??? I've stayed at one of the All Stars in May, June, July and October and we always had shared buses.

Stayed at Movies twice in March/April and never shared a bus.

so no bus sharing at POP but at the AS Resorts its a gamble. I still vote POP.

I stayed at AS Music and we only a handful of times in 9 days picked up a couple at Movies. We never stopped at Sports and it was packed last Dec. The biggest holdup is not the amount of people so much as the ones that take advantage of the wheelchair ecv rides. They seem to take up so may spots when they let their entire family of 12 get on first plus loosing 3 seats to a bus per cart. I really think that Disney needs to have a separate special bus for all who are in chairs and their family or friends. Not that I am con handicap or ???? But really we had to wait for 3 buses last Dec to finally get to board. The chair people would come up in the last few minutes of wait time with all their family and we all had stood there for over 45 minutes to board, sometimes an hour. They really need a CM at all stops to control that. Music is the most controled and least busiest when it comes to loading in the mornings

This is a thought I've seen brought up on here a few times. Let me see if I can dig up the thread explaining the pros and cons of this from both sides of the fence...

I stayed at All Star Movies in March...hated the busses. It was almost impossible to get on the busses because you are the last resort that is picked up along the way. When you did get on the bus, it was like being in middle school. I liked the big food court, but it was filled with school groups too.

We were stuck in the Mighty Ducks section also, which wasn't really my cup of tea. Try to request another area of the resort, unless you really like huge almost scary duck heads. There was also some kind of smell too when we would leave in the morning.

I haven't stayed in Pop, but I would say either stay in Sports or Pop due to the busses. Enjoy your trip.

Stay away from the all stars.
It is three resorts all in one place. Over a thousand rooms that does not have enough cast memebers to control.
You cannot call the front desk directly, you go thru an operator which in turn will get you the front desk.

This resort is where all the teenagers are sent when they are doing the dance, music, or whatever they do. That means no parents, just a few people watching them. Very noisey at night.

If you must do a value, do pop.
Its all by itself, its fairly quiet, and you get a good price.

If you can stretch it do a moderate instead.
