Looking forward to the future with some rumored attractions and refurbs going on which park do you think ha the most potential?

MK
Epcot
DHS
AK
DCA I know it's not in WDW but I'll include it do to the massive refurb going on.

In my opinion it is DHS because only because I've never been to DL and I think it has the most wasted space.

If the monsters Inc coaster is built and they get rid of the backlot tour and give us the cars ride being built in DL, close narnia and move one mans dream to MK there is room for maybe an incredibles attraction and that would round off Pixar land very nicely.

Close sounds Dangerous and replace it with any thing!

Which park do you think has the most potential?

Animal Kingdom and DHS, definitely. I think that Animal Kingdom is an absolutely beautiful park, which has the most depth to it, but could be improved immensely. Also DHS is rather empty compared to Epcot and Magic Kingdom. They could definitely add to it.

EPCOT Center...Walt Disney's last dream.

Not only as a park, but as a franchise, and icon and a new showplace for innovation and imagination.

Sounds too familiar if you ask me.:o

Agreed. From a sheer attraction/expansion standpoint, Animal Kingdom has the most potential. However, in terms of an icon/franchise point of view, Epcot comes out ahead. I think from that collective standpoint, Epcot has the most potential branding and profit out of the 4 parks. :)

I wanted to say EPCOT to because it's my favorite place in the known and unknown universe but the direction it's been heading FW not being so futuristic, Nemofacation of The Living Seas and abandoning SSE I chose not to.

But you could say that all of these bad decisions give it the most potential!!!!

Obviously the Animal Kingdom. A LOT of room to build - what we now is only the foundation.

HS needs a lot of improvement. That park gives me a headache except for Fantasmic and Tower of Terror. Otherwise, its rather boring. They need to get rid of the Star Tours ride, Backlot Tour. They need more thrill rides. Toy Story was a start.

MK and Epcot are on lock. Epcot could use some new countries and a ride in each one but thats never gonna happen.

AK or DHS

MK will always be the top atleast im pretty positive. I think both DHS and AK have huge potential. AK is such a great idea it has so much space and is still only 10 years old well almost 11. DHS on the other hand is also doing a lot or trying. Fantasmic cut kind of put me on the bad side. But TSM , AI and the new rumorerd Monsters Inc Rollercoaster. RNR , TOT, and the idea of pixar place is great. Its hard between those two for me =D.

I honestly don't see why there isn't more love for Animal Kingdom.........

I honestly think that it is the second best park (after MK).

It is so big and beautiful. It has SO much to come. The potential is HUGE. What they have already is so far beyond anything that any other non-Disney park has.

EE for example. Well, back before they killed the yeti.

I know that I'm about to get burned at the stake for this, but AK, to me, is so much better than Epcot and HS.

AK has a clear focus; A very distinct theme.

To me, AK is an experience. It is about the atmosphere. The sights. The sounds. The little moments. And it has the highest level of detail and theming of any Disney park EVER. And the Tree Of Life is much more appealing and beautiful than SSE. Or that GOD AWFUL Mickey Hat.

I've said this before, and I will say it again; Within the next several years I see AK growing. In major ways. To the point that it will overtake DHS, and maybe even Epcot in guest numbers. I have that much faith in it.

Back when I went last April, I was most impressed by AK. I ADORED MK, of course, but AK, to me, had the most life. It had a glow. A natural feel that really left a lasting impression on me. And honestly, I look forward to going back to AK almost as much as I do to going back to MK.

As long as Joe keeps the steering wheel of this park in his hands, AK has nowhere to go but up.

I think that Animal Kingdom does have the potential to be great, but more attractions will have to be added. The over all atmosphere is very inveloping. But to me I think the Studios has the potential to be great with a lot of help along the way though.

1. They have to starting adding more Fantasmic shows. I don't care if American Idol is suppose to be the last show, schedule it thirty minutes later.

2. Do something with the dated backlot tour, the Monsters Inc. coaster idea would fit nicely and hopefully box all the Pixarness in one location.

3. Update the Indiana Jones show, possibly with ride that is similar to the one in Disneyland.

4. Change the video for Star Tours, the overall experience is built up highly until the 1980's video.

5. Do something with Sound's Dangerous, the entire idea is lost upon most guests.

6. Continue you with the roaming actors and characters, one of the few remaining true Disney moments guests get to experience.

Just my thoughts. :ROFLOL::ROFLOL::ROFLOL:

I am torn with this thread between two parks.

AK- Like everyone else has said, they have just started with this park. They have the land, and the ride options are almost limitless.

Epcot-With technology changing pretty much every day, they could keep updating the park until the end of time. Two, World show case could use another country.

On a side note, IMO, i think DHS needs alot more updating then most. Toy story was a good start, but since this use to be a halfway active studio, they need to make sure to incorp. this somehow into the park. I know the American Idol show, even though its American Idol, is a good start to make people feel that its a studio, not just a theme park.

I know its not in WDW but im surprised nobody picked DCA. Isnt the whole park basicaly being redone. I didnt picke it either but if the whole park is going to be redone than I think it might have the most potential.

I have to say its Epcot. Just because it never reached its potentional. Plus they can add many more rides to the countries which would bring even more diversity to the park.

I'd say either EPCOT or Hollywood Studios.
EPCOT because it can introduce ideas and technology that could change the world if someone just gave it a chance and DHS because Disney could use an edgier side to attract the Universal goers and HS could do just that. Not to mention, there are basic concepts that seem like a no brainer for DHS that they've yet to do like a House of Mouse restaurant for starters

Heck, I would take Epcot early 90's (before removing World of Motion / Horizons). It had a look to the future then and was inspiring. I just want that Epcot back for now. Just to return to inspiring people and looking towards the future.

Thats not even to talk about how great Epcot truly could be.

My favorite park is Epcot, but the park with the most upward potential that in no way takes advantage of it now is DHS.

They could do so much more with the movie properties they own, especially in the live action genre.

They also miss almost every opportunity to show how movies are made and how things work in Hollywood. Even the animation courtyard is a pale comparison of what it used to be. The current offering is simply lackluster and could show so much more.

I miss Cronchite and Williams doing their speil. It had some great humor to it, and still showed a great animation process. And it doesn't even cover what Pixar does! Have a computer animation class with the hand drawn stuff.

I personally never cared for World of Motion. I mean, it was a nice concept but came off like one huge ad for GM than anything else.
As for the Backlot tour, I think instead of being replaced, it should be completely gutted and re-themed. My concept? Make it a tour where you watch animatronic cartoon characters film their cartoons. Could you imagine an entire scene done to look like Mickey Donald and Goofy on the set fillming a cartoon? That'd be fun! Though I'd welcome a Monsters Inc. coaster too.

I would like to see it rethemed but i dont know if there is enough room anymore with the stunt show? Well I guess since now half the ride is th que they could change that to add some space.

But I am afraid that this whole area of the park will fall to PIxar eventualy:hurl:
