If my cousin who lives like 30min. from Orlando goes to MK and BUYS a 4 day pass for the FL resident price can she then give it to my mom (who lives in FL) to save her from standing in line to show id?? Does the FL ticket LOOK the same as the other or will we most def. have to stand in line?

Also, If my mom purchases a ticket for my daughter would she have to be there for the time we FIRST use it although we're not fl. residents?

Sorry if this is confusing just lmk. thanks!!

Please no flames just trying to figure out a CHEAP/FAST way for tickets we're only there for a few days and on a TIGHT budget to get us there! LOL Thanks

In order to buy a FL resident ticket, you need a valid FL DL or FL ID for EACH ticket you buy. Your cousin could buy several exchange certificates but your family would need to stand in line to turn those in for tickets - which would require every person to show a valid Florida ID.

Your best bet is simply to buy them when you get there since you need to go through the process anyway. FL resident tickets are printed from the same roll as any other ticket so they do look the same, though they will say "FL Resident" on the back and have the person's name printed on them as well.

So if she GOES to the park and purchases a ticket for my mom would my mom simply GO through the turnstyles when we do and no one ask for an ID? Thanks!!

Oh, you can expect plenty of flames if you are trying to cheat the mouse... Which, it definitely sounds like you're trying to do:fork:...

Nope just trying to cheat the line! LOL We're just trying to find the QUICKEST way in the park! We're already going to have OUR out of state tickets and she's going to have to wait to get hers transferred to tickets. EXTRA time means less time in the park! :)

You can't buy FL resident tickets for someone else unless they are right there at the time of purchase. So your cousin can't buy a ticket for your mom ahead of time because at the time you buy them, EACH person has to be there to show a valid FL ID. Your cousin could only buy an exchange voucher for your mom but since she'd have to get in line anyway and change it over to a ticket, there's really no point.

At time of purchase, each person must show ID.

Best place to get tickets away from the gates is at the Customer Service counter at Downtown Disney if you go there beforehand. It's located in the same building as the sporting goods store.

Or the "tower" on the West Side if you're on that end of Downtown Disney. It's in between the bridge to Pleasure Island and Wetzel's Pretzels near the movie theater.
