DH & I have been to WDW quite a few times in the 7 years we've known each other, and we've had some great magical moments. Some of my favorites were on our Disneymoon while we were wearing our bride and groom ears. We got fastpasses given to us by other guests, we got our own boat on Pirates with our names announced and our own boat on Small World, DH was given a meatball to roll across the table at me with his nose at Tony's like in Lady and the Tramp as well. But I'd have to say my absolute favorite happened on our last trip this past Oct/ Nov with our kids when we won Dream Fastpasses on The Great Movie Ride!!

My favorite was when I was able to ride TOT by myself, then with a bellhop. I ended up getting a picture with him, it was so awesome. Probably one of my favorite time riding the tower.

For me it has to be getting our own Pirates boat as Eliezrah mentioned above. It was so cool. The CM announced our names and everyone clapped for us.

We have had so many "Magical Moments" There are several that I think of. Last year we went on our 15th anniversary and Disney really went out of their way to make it special. The most memorable being sang to at B & B show at MGM and one of the guys suggesting that now is great time for DH to kiss me- he really laid one on me and the whole crowd cheered! I was soo embarrased! :ROFLOL:Also Pluto at LTT having DH & I get on the floor so he could hold a heart over our heads for our son to snap a pic. It was really cute.
Winning Dream Fastpasses was definately a great moment too but the best will always be my kid's first trips though and watching their faces with their favorite characters.

Getting married at the Wedding Pavilion and looking through the stained glass window where we exchanged our vows and seeing the castle! Totally magical!

The most magical thing that has happened to me at Disney was having the chance to be the family that rides the train with the characters in the morning to help Mickey open the park.

Besides my wedding and the birth of my children, it is the most exciting thing that has ever happened to me in my life!

We were in the crystal shop on Main Street when we were on our honeymoon in WDW ('04) wearing our bride & groom mouse ears when the barbershop quartet came through. They asked what my favorite movie was, and I said "Beauty & the Beast". So they sang the theme while we waltzed in the store in front of one of the large models of the characters that they sell. It's one of my favorite photos & memories ever in all of our trips.:)

WoW! That must have been so much fun... How do they pick the family for that every morning? And do they pick on that day, or the day before or something??

They usually pick a family at random about an hour before the park opens.

We were there early for an early ADR at the castle, and just for fun told my son to ask if the family had been picked.....NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS thinking we would actually get to do it!

It was so much fun. If you want to know more about it, here is my trip report:http://forums.wdwmagic.com/showthread.php?t=271799&highlight=happymom's

First, but not technically on property, was when I found out a few days before Christmas that I won a grand prize in the McDonald's Happiest Homecoming on Earth promotion. I had a rough year the year before, with my best friend passing away from cancer, then his mother a little over a week later from a heart attack, and it was as if I was chosen to win that trip for a reason.

We got to pick between a 4-night, 5-day trip to either DL or WDW. We ended up choosing to go to DL since it was the 50th and I was a passholder and visited WDW a lot. Plus, my dad had never been to DL. The whole time my mom had to tell everyone that I won the trip. My favorite was the CM at Clarebelle's Frozen Yogurt stand in Toontown...she gave me the biggest thing of frozen yogurt you've ever seen (people were pointing at it, it was so huge). Let me tell you, that does not taste like frozen yogurt, it is delicious! (I got the twist, or swirl as some people call it, mmmmmmm). That trip was magical in every way.

The best "moment" in WDW was in June 2005. My mom and dad added me at the last minute to their 30th anniversary trip. I felt guilty tagging along, but it worked out because I got to take their picture a lot. Well, for their present, my brother, sister, I bought them dinner in the castle, and when we made the ADR, we told the CM about the special occasion (later adding me....I really did feel guilty for horning in, though...but I loved the special iced tea they made...it had some kind of different fruit in it, and our waiter was from Jamestown, which is near Buffalo, but...anyway).

When we were seated, there was confetti all over the table, and we were given a seat overlooking Fantasyland. The meal was absolutely wonderful (what was that delicious appetizer....was it pretzel bread? My goodness, it was so good). At the end of our meal, our waiter brought my parents two champagne glasses and said they were an anniversary gift from Cinderella.

My mom has a hard time with stairs because of a physical ailment, so while my dad and I walked down the stairs to leave, my mom used the elevator. Just as the doors were closing, I saw Cinderella get in with her!

We waited for my mom at the bottom, and she was beaming. I asked her why. "I thanked Cinderella for our anniversary present," my mom told me, "She said, 'You're welcome, Princess.'"

She looked like a little kid in that moment, and I get misty thinking about it (talk about role reversal....my mom cries when she remembers the looks on my, my brother's, and my sister's faces when we first saw Main Street and Cinderella castle, but I digress again). She seemed awestruck that Cinderella called her "Princess." It really was like she was a little kid. That was a really special moment, and one of the moments that makes me glad my parents raised me to be a Disney nerd :o.

These stories are wonderful! I'm sitting here watching TV going, "aww!", while I read! Love the Tower of Terror picture, awesome! And so jealous of the experience at Tony's w/the meatball. I would absolutely love that!

My favorite magical moment was when my fiance & I got engaged & wore buttons around the park. At Garden Grille, our waitress brought us out a surprise congrats Mickey Mouse cake, and brought out Chip to propose to me in front of the restaurant. I cried, I was so excited/happy. :)

Your story about your mom is so sweet! I loved our Disneymoon dinner at the castle as well. They did the same thing for us with the champagne glasses and stuff. We got the best table to see the fireworks from, and we even saw Peter Pan and Captain HooK chasing each other around the outside of the castle right by the window where we were sitting.

I have two-

I have a "official" moment from a CM-It was my birthday and we were chosen as the family of the day and announced at the beginning of the American Adventure show. THey gave me a call from Goffy and a certificate too!The entire theater applauded!:o

For me, its "dancing" with one of the puppets when Tapestry of Nations was at Epcot.

Mine too.But the entire night was great for me....IllumiNations 2000 had concluded and my family was still in awe over the new show and were walking out of EPCOT holding hands when "Celebrate the Future,Hand in Hand" came over the BGM.We all looked at each other and grinned. That was exactly what we were doing.:o:D

And it's momment's like that,that make Disney,Disney.

I love reading these stories. I'm a cast member and my favorite magical moment happens every day when I make a little kid, or even a big kid...smile. Nothing makes me happier than that.

I have three.

1) Riding up front with the monorail captain with my family. That was so amazing!

2) Riding ToT, but the cool part was they took me up into the ride in a special entrance. I rode in a regular elevator to the ride loading dock with one of the bellhops. I was just waiting for the elevator to drop, alas it was just a normal elevator.

3) Dancing in the HSM parade. :D I'm a HSM nut.

Magical CM's

I have two - one isn't necessarily a magic moment per se, but it was definitely a magical castmember! On our trip in 2004, we all rode the test track ride - myself, DH, DD (11), & DS (6). My son loved it so much, he wanted to ride again, but the queue was so long and we had ADR's at the Rose & Crown. A cast member heard my son crying and us trying to sooth him and asked what was wrong. We explained the situtation and he said "follow me." He then preceeded to take us kind of a back way up through the building and to the front of the line, where we got to ride again! It was such an awesome treat and my son realized it enough that he was satisfied and happily went on to dinner, which leads to our magical moment at the Rose & Crown. Our wonderful waiter had the chef come out with my son and he became a junior chef, where he donned a chef jacket, designed a magical dessert for himself and received a certificate to celebrate the occasion. As you can see below, he enjoyed the occasion, especially since he has aspirations to cook!
