WCW was at Universal and MgM
I may still have some video tape of WCW wrestler jumping off The MGM entrance / ticket booth Logo into the ring.
It was the only outside WcW Monday Night Nitro tape at MGM before they move indoor at one of the soundstages. Later Wcw later move to the soundstage at Universal before they were bankrupt and Brought by WWF.
The weirdest place ever for a WWF monday night Raw show was in the rotundra of Penn Station in NYC, where the Undertaker did a pile driver on Triple H going down a esclator in the train station.
Also the first Monday Night Nitro took place in the Mall of America in Minnesota.

WCW used to film in what would be Midway Maina if my mind still works, but that was before they were doing outside. I remember going to see them tape the weekend shows there once for about 3 hours. They would do reshoots of entrances and endings, we saw the same match 2 times due to them having tech problems. It was very fun, even though I was a WWF/WWE guy at the time. I never got to see Nitro being filmed in front, but that was the hight of the nWo pre-Hogan time. I want to say it was 96ish????

I remember going to tapings In 1993 . They were taping WcW worldwide and WcW prime time. The one time i went the taping was in the middle of the New York fascades and all around there.

Ah, I miss WCW. WWF/E has a monopoly on the industry now, with no desire to improve, and the Attitude Era is long gone. You can hardly call TNA and ROH competition these days either.

My son (now 25) has watched wrestling forever, it seems. We had one television in the beginning so I watched along with him. Now, I have no idea who anybody is except for the old timers. Not any fun anymore. We would go to shows in St. Louis, and imagine my surprise when I found myself standing on my seat yelling "Kick his a@@, Steve!" Steve Austin is hot.

I agree. I've been watching wrestling since I was 9 and I miss WWF & WCW. Those Monday nights were sooo exciting flipping back and forth between each one. Both had their equally awesome wrestlers. TNA has alot of the old schoolers but I agree they are nothing compared to what WWE is today.
