Yes...that is the strangest darn thing!!! I have no idea for the purpose either. It's not like we're in World War III

I dunno... my mom thought it would be useful when camping. I thought it would go well in an emergency kit, like if you're in a hurricane/tornado/other natural disaster and need emergency supplies.

But apparently it's a big thing in New England. Wonder if Betty's heard of it?

Maybe...I guess I do see it's purposes...it's just incredibly strange. And how does it stay fresh?

Sing it girlie!

Summer loving had me a blast

Summer loving happened so fast

I met a girl crazy for me

Met a boy cute as can be

Summer days drifting away, to UH OH the summer nights

Oh Well-a well-a well-a HU!

Yeah...but rice you can just heat with water...this is bread in a can?!

Some of the ready-rices don't need water... they're just sealed up ready to eat. But they're all squishy... I don't want to think about what kind of preservatives are involved there. Somehow canning just seems... safer? I dunno.

I've seen bread in a can before, but I never could figure out its purpose.
I just figured it was a product which that company has made for years and continues to make in pretty much its original form. Someone must buy it, but I can't imagine why...except out of curiosity, as in Bun's case.

Ah...yes...squishy rice...that does seem a bit weird...but bread in a can weirds me out more. Kinda like Spam.
