Im trying to see If I understood the bumpf about said plan.

It says three meal per day, I can pick the combination.

So does that mean I can have a table service breakfast = 1 meal

and then a Signature Dining dinner = 2 meals , thus 3 meals allowance for that day?

Why cant they put things in plain English or are they trying to avoid saying you could have 3 table service meals per day?

Yes, you can have 3 meals a day.

In general, Disney calculate the number of nights you are staying in your Disney hotel and x by the number of meals.

E.g Say you are staying for 7 nights....

7 x 3(meals a day for deluxe) = 21 table service meals you can have in total.

You can use as many or as little as you want. If you only use 2 table service meals in one day hence you will have 19 meals still to use up by the end of the holiday. You can use ANY NUMBER OF MEALS IN ONE DAY. You could be a pie and use them all up in your first day if you really wanted to. :-D

With the delux package you also are entitled to 2 snacks per person per day as well.

For counter service, you dont get given any BUT you can use up a table service for a counter service - maybe not the most economical but good if you want a quick bite.

Remember you also get a refillable mug thing :D

Signature dining will cost you 2 credits per person with any package. I would advice booking WELL IN ADVANCE for any TABLE SERVICE MEAL (remember gratuity charges are not included for these meals)

Hope this helps.

Good point but it does have it's advantages. For instance, I'm going for 10 days Nov. 28 - Dec 7, I have several days were I'm doing a breakfast and a signature dinner and still had a lot of credits to use. I left 6 credits open for C.S meals figuring I can do something spur of the moment and it saves me some money on having to leave a tip.

DH and I are getting the DDP in Sept for our anniversary trip. We are going to a few Sig. dining places so that will take up 2 credits for each.....You get 3 credits a day, can use as TS or CS. So, guess you could eat at 3 TS a day......that would be so much food and you wouldn't see the parks because you would be eating all day! :ROFLOL:

I agree also. I feel we have planned our trip around food, not around the rides

Table service meals are a big part of the trip for us, however on this trip we look to be eating at a god few signature dining venues so Ive had the menus and spread sheets out doing my sums.

Remember you get the appetizer with the Deluxe. We did the Deluxe Dining Plan for 7 nights, for 2 adults and 2 children under 9 and the wine option and it cost right at $1500. We ended up adding an extra day because we had skipped a couple of lunches so we had enough points for breakfast and a 2 point dinner that last night. When we got home we added the receipts and if we had payed out of pocket we would have spent well over $2000. We didn't eat at certain restaurants just because "we could", we had already planed on eating at them before we decided to do the plan.

We are doing the deluxe plan in Nov and have booked a few 2ts credit meals which means there is a chance we would have to grab a lunch somewhere but I think the snacks should be fine on those days.

The way we are working it is we wake up have a nice TS breakfast which are mostly character breakfasts then off to the park and we will grab a counter service lunch for convenience sake and then go to a nice sit down meal to relax and decide what our night plans are.
