That is true. I also had a 13 yr old son and a 10 yr old son at the time. :dazzle: We had a good time though.

It IS different when you've got older kids....but if it's your first, it's still changing your world, and taking a vacation when you're still getting up 4+ times a night is nuts, IMHO :dazzle:

It will all be ok dear!

Hello Jenny!

Hi Nibbs!

To each their own. I just know you won't see ME with a newborn in Disney.

hello Jen

Hi sweetie - give Anya kisses for me.

I think it was better, for us anyway, to wait till the kids were older...although if Joel had be more on cue developmentally who knows. In some ways with him it is still very much like experiencing things with a toddler.

I'd say the same thing, though we have a trip to WDW planned for the summer of '09. DH has a conference, so he's going no matter what. Who knows if we'll be a family of three at that point. If we are, it'd be a young one! We'd have to decide to either give it a try with a little one or have me and the baby stay behind...:cry: That would be hard. :(
Of course, I'm getting a head of myself... :o

Oh and Joe...
A tall, dark and very handsome man (who also happens to be my husband) came by and dropped off a sonic "happy hour" drink for me. You've been replaced! :p

...and... he may have also dropped off a large order of cheesy tots and the drink may happen to be the route 44 (44 oz) size...:lookaroun...
*hangs head in shame smiley*

Thanks sweetie!
I know one thing... I wouldn't be able to leave the baby with my parents or anyone else for a whole week. I don't think I'd be able to be apart from it. I don't know if other people have done that...
