8TRAX closed 4/18-4/22 - why?

No idea, really, but since it's only for 5 days, I'd have to guess it's just a thorough going-over, maybe a slight refurbishment...maybe a fumigation. 
It's not long enough a closing to really do major changes.
Another possibility: a series of private events where it's closed to the general public.

Also during that time they could do inventory. I know when I was bartending once a month we inventoried the adult beverages

Heh, WDW management is so , I assumed they did inventory every morning.
