Not sure if this belongs in this forum or the resorts & trip planning forum, but I guess they'll move it if they think it belongs there instead.
Anyway, on our upcoming trip, my wife and I would like to stop in at the Beaches and Cream restaraunt. There are a few days where we could do this, one of which being the day that we go to Epcot for morning EMH.
On Tuesday, April 15, we plan to be at Epcot at 8 AM for EMH then stay until noonish or 1ish or so and then go back to the resort for the afternoon until it's time to go to Artist Point for supper. One possibility for visiting Beaches and Cream is to head that way after we're done at Epcot. But here is the problem:
Partly out of laziness and partly to simply save time, I hate to walk all the way to the Beach Club (especially since on this particular day, we're doing primarily just the Future World side) just to have to backpeddal through the park to get back to the entrance/exit. It would be much simpler if we just parked the car at the Beach Club or Boardwalk in the morning, then walk into Epcot through the international gateway. Then do our morning at Epcot, then head back out through the International Gateway, visit Art Lark at the Beach Club, eat at Beaches and Cream, then drive back to the resort. This, of course, assumes that we drive our vehicle instead of taking the bus. Problem with this plan is that World Showcase doesn't open until 11 AM and I'm talking about being at Epcot at 8 AM for EMH. Can I cut through WS at such an early hour?
Another option is if we take the bus. Then we could walk to the Beach Club when we're done at Epcot for the day, visit Art, do Beaches and Cream, then get on another bus to go back to the resort. Problem with that is that the busses don't go from resort to resort. Do they still go from resorts to DTD, or did I read a while back that they stopped doing that? Can I take a bus from the Beach Club to the Epcot entrance, or is that not available since Beach Club guests can walk to Epcot or take the boat?
Of course, this is one of a few possible days that we could visit B&C. If we pick one of the other days, this is all moot, but I'm just trying to think of the quickest, most convenient way to do this without backpeddaling through the park to get back to the entrance.
