Disney can be done "on the cheap"!

Take lunches/snacks with you to the parks. Take bottled water and flavour crystals. Check the prices for Value Resorts and compare to hotels near DTD on International drive [not being on-site you miss EMH and have transport issues, but if cheaper is what you want, it might be worth the extra hassle].

Buy discounted tickets from a reputable company.

Are we allowed to say mousesavers on here? Check 'em out. Lots of good advice. There are lots of great yet inexpensive food stops. The bakery in norway has some wonderful treats that will fill you right up! Want table-service quality food without the price? Check out the Sunshine Seasons at epcot. I recommend the Mongolian Beef or the Salmon with Kalamata Olive Pesto. Both will run you about 8 bucks but the taste is worth so much more!

As ImaYoyo says, there are lots of relatively inexpensive alternatives for food [if you don't bring your own]. Another great place to grab lunch is Earl of Sandwich in DTD! Wonderful sandwiches made to your liking! :slurp: And not expensive at all.

Good tip! Less expensive than McDonalds DTD, more filling, and MUCH better food!

savings tips

when booking your hotel and again at checkin ask for a fridge for the room, we get one every time we go since we have medication that needs to be kept chilled
the fridge will save you alot of money and aggravation
depending on the length of your flight, from here in nyc it is only about 2 1/2 hrs, you can bring some items to keep in the fridge to save some money

sodas, bottled juices, small milk containers, fruit and veggies, you will be suprised how much money you save by bringing your own snack items
