Genesis of a false rumor

I think you're misinterpretting this article. It's an investor's prediction of where the company will be financially in two years. The intent wasn't to guarantee that these things will happen in the next two years, but rather to give an indication that the company will be in good shape financially and continue to grow.

Some of the basis for his predictions have come from official announcements... He drew on some of that information, made a few embellishments, and wrote an article with a larger message... The company is expected to be a solid investment and will continue to grow over the next two years.

People get too caught up in "this will happen," "that will happen," "but this will never happen, at least not for 8 to 10 years..." I understand the frustration of hearing the same rumor pop up time after time and never coming to fruition. But, let people have their fun. Are we living in colonies in space or under the see? Are we FedExing packages over a beam of light...? Maybe not, but we all enjoy picturing a future where these are possibilities. Nobody can predict the future, but we can all dream... Isn't that what the magic is supposed to be about anyway?

Darn my luck...I miss Elvis:king: every time! I'm always in the wrong line at the grocery store, the wrong convenience store, laundramat, and the wrong bowling alley.

I agree though, ridiculous Mouse rumors are fun...especially seeing how many people fall for them before they're disproven.:dazzle:
