The Spectro song gives me goosebumps tooMe, too. I bought the Spectomagic parade CD when we were down there, and I like listening to Jiminy talk on it....

OT: So, I walked through Times Square this morning on my way in to see if I could catch a glimpse of the ball...no luck, but I did see the "2008" sign. Took a pretty blurry pic that I'll try and post later when I get home.
But, even at 6:45am, and very few people on the streets, you could just feel the energy in the area. And everyone I encountered said "Happy New Year".

They showed it on the Today show this morning - apparently they were practicing dropping it and raising it back up. Yeah, I guess they practiced a few times yesterday too. :shrug:
I'm contemplating walking through there again when I get off @ 2:30 to try and get a better glimpse. Apparantly people don't start congregating until 4 so I figure it may not be as bad yet at that time.
