Good morning.
We went to a formal dinner last night. Extremely boring, and the food was blah. Except for the salad...did anyone ever have Bloody Mary dressing? Tres yummy!
Anyway...there were wandering violinists playing during dinner, which was a nice touch. When they wandered by our table, one asked if we had any requests. George, being George, asked for "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" (For those who don't know, that's a 1968 rock song by Iron Butterfly.) He was just being a wise guy...asking for something they most assuredly wouldn't know. Well...George almost fell out of his chair when they proceeded to play that song, and play it well! It was great!

My parents listened to older Country and Western, so that is what I heard.

I miss Steph. Hope she is having a great time. When does she come back.

I loved the rock music of the 60's...and I still do.
Not a big fan of the Stones, though. Some of their things I like, but not much. Loved the Beatles, The Who...just about all of those groups! Was never a fan of country, although I do like some of the crossover stuff now.

About Steph...I don't recall her saying when she'd be back.
