Stroller Rental Hire Question

Hi fellow posters,
Please could you help me by passing on any knowledge and details to the following question.

We have two girls under 9 and they get very tired during our Disney trips. We have hired strollers before on certain days on prior trips, however I am wondering can you hire strollers for the whole duration of your holiday? If so do you know how much they charge? Do they charge by the day or do you have to go through the whole rental process every day where ever you are? Can you buy a ticket that you just flash at the hire place and take a stroller.
Would would need a double strollers so if you know the prices based on this that would be fantastic.:sohappy:

I would be very grateful for any help.
Thank you
Lee

Yes we did this and it worked out great, but on our last day of our trip we had a extra stroller rental pass, so we figured we'd give it to another family well while doing this, a family that we were asking if they would like a the free pass informed us that they did'nt need one beacause they got free rentals for being a Disney Visa card holder.....Well we are did not know this lovely little tidbit ..that would have saved us $100 plus.....Well anyway we did find a family who was estatic about the stroller pass we gave them..so if your a Disney Visa card holder there's a tidbit for ya!!

Something to keep in mind though, referring to the Disney Visa cardmember benefit...

I used to work at MK Strollers last May-November, and the coupons were only good for Disneyland. I hated telling members that little part, but check the fine print on that voucher if you come across it! It may have changed within the last year, but I am positive of my statement, at least from last year's experiences with guests.

Good luck!

There is a multi-day (not "length of stay") discount if you pay for those multiple days in advance. It is $2 off per day.

Besides the cost savings, the big advantage of the multi-day rental is that after that initial transaction you never again have to wait in what I call the "pay" line. When you pay that first time, you get a receipt and one Rental Pass for each day's rental you paid for.

You then go to what I call the "pick-up" line, which is almost never a line at all.

On subsequent days, you simply go right to the pick-up area. They'll stamp a blank Rental Pass with that day's date and you get your stroller right away. It's really nice to do this when there's a long line at the pay line.

Your rental is per day, not per pick-up, which means if you leave the park and later that day go to another park or return to the same park, you simply go to the pick-up area and show your Rental Pass with that day's date stamped on it.

IMPORTANT: UNUSED RENTAL PASSES ARE FULLY REFUNDABLE. You just take any unused passes and your original cash register receipt to the stroller rental place at any of the 4 theme parks (doesn't have to be the one where you originally paid) and you will get an immediate 100% refund for any unused Rental Passes.

Yes, you can rent one for the duration of your stay, but if you are not going to use it all the time, every day it just may be a waste of your money.
Just want to point out that since unused stroller Rental Passes are fully refundable, it's unlikely you could waste money in paying in advance for a multi-day stroller rental. Details in my post above.

I worked at Epcot stroller rental this past summer, and we got lots of questions about this. Most of the information has already been covered, but here it is consolidated:

-- A length of stay option is available, in which you pre-pay for however many days you plan to use a stroller.

-- Length of Stay (LOS) passes are discounted $2/day, which at current prices puts LOS at $8/day for single strollers and $16/day for doubles. The discount also applies to the day during which you purchase the LOS tickets.

-- LOS tickets are refundable, though it usually says they aren't on the ticket. Just take the unused tickets to the register at any rental location to receive your refund.

--Strollers must be returned to the rental location in each park prior to your leaving the park. The cancelled LOS ticket (like the regular stroller tickets) is valid for pickup of a stroller of the same type at any theme park and Downtown Disney for that full calendar day.

-- There is no LOS ticket for ECV's.
