when is Pop Warner week ?

I am planning a trip either the last week of Feb or the First Week of March. and I am taking a newbie to Disney and don't want to have to deal with them.
so if any one knows when they will be there please tell.

from what everyone said when I asked they don't seem to affect the parks too much though. (can't speak from personal experience)... just if you're at value. (like I will be. LOL checking in the night of the 8th though.)

Agreed that they are not generally noticable in the parks except for the lines for busses. We were at WDW once while Pop Warner was going on and the only issues we had were that they were not very well behaved in lines for the busses and while on the busses. Their chaperones were not very adept at keeping them in order and most of the time were encouraging the misbehavior.

Pretty much. For the most part you will see small groups of them in the parks but they are nowhere near as bad as the infamous tour groups that flood the parks in July and August.

I'm so relieved! Thanks, MasterYoda. This is our first trip to see the Christmas festivities and I was worried after I found out about the Pop Warner thing. We're staying in the Contemporary, tho, so it shouldn't be a big issue for us.

Since you are staying in the Contemporary there is a good chance that you will never even know that they are there. Most of the issues with Pop Warner kids arise at the resorts (loud at night etc.) and for the most part they will be at All Star's primarily All Star Sports.

Enjoy the Contemporary and make sure you make the rounds to at least the other two resorts on the monorail loop to check out the Christmas decorations.
