Or risk being traumatized.

So today, I got to see the "sneak preview" of the new O Canada film. I was hungry and stopped by Epcot after work. Ate at the Land and thought why not check out Canada. The new film was very nicely done and funny. The new version of "Canada, You're a Lifetime Journey" is very pretty and moving. There was one problem however and it really only affects those people from Philly. In the film, they show some great moments in Canadian sports history. One of them just happens to be an infamous moment where a Canadian city triumphs... at Philadelphia's expense. My jaw dropped when I saw it. Oh the memories are coming back. And now that scene will be forever immortalized in Walt Disney World. Curse you, Jim Fregosi!!! :lookaroun

I don't mean to go off topic but this reminds me of Twister at Universal Studios. In the waiting area for Twister you watch a film about real towisters and the 1997 tornado of Cedar Park, Tx is on the film. I can proudly say that I lived through that tornado.

Again, I didn't mean to go off topic or mean to bring US into this thread. Sorry if I offended anyone.

Ouch Vince!
I can still remember watching that game. I certainly don't want to relive it! Bad enough that Philadelphia can't break the losing jinx, without having it shoved in your face at WDW!

Gee - now if we can get them to show the Patriots-Eagles Superbowl, we'll be all set!

As someone from the other side of PA who is married to a Philly native/Phillies fan, I feel your pain. I'm just glad there's no movie about Atlanta, in which I would have to relieve the final moments of the '92 NLCS. Curse you, Francisco Cabrera!!!

My poor Pirates haven't been the same since.

I'm really pulling for the Phils to get that Wild Card slot this year!!!

We're 2 games out, NL East seems reasonable.

I actually cried when the Phillies lost the '93 series. I was 12. I still cringe when I hear the name Joe Carter. Who knew 13 years later I would be married to a man from Toronto :ROFLOL:
I'm excited to see the new film now! After all, being a true Phillies fan, I'm used to being tortured.

Trator. Trator! TRATOR!!!! :fork: :fork: :fork: :fork:

Torture would be pulling to within 3 of the Mets, losing 6 out of 9 to fall 7 back and then sweep the mets to go to 2 back?
